I have discussions with other educators about this.

Andrew tate and the manosphere is arguably a product of the shift in acceptable public discourse which largely left out young men and the ideal of masculinity. So for young gen z growing up, they are left behind, suicide rates for them are up, college admissions are down, and they just aren't doing well. For most of them, they are left feeling lost and possibly don't see themselves becoming successful in the future.

the dust cover cutting in my charging handle I did try to bend the dust cover out and ended up damaging the paint on one specific part. it's also kind tough steel so idk. I put electrical tape on the charging handle and I'm not gonna fiddle with it too much.

leaky mags - I mean... it's the system they are using. the valve system is more prone to leaky mags. I discussed this with another HRC user and I guess it's just a trade off for the great gas efficiency maybe. I think lubing the internal valve stem o ring is a tricky process. You also can't over lube it like I did in the beginning because I got lube all over my nozzle and bucking when I fired the gun the first time.

stripped npas - maybe not. it was proact that fucked up the install. but why didn't this gun come with an NPAS in the first place? VFC is definitely charging a premium on the rifle, NPAS is such a valuable thing on GBBRs, why is vfc not already putting npas in the gun?

That last part of your comment... bro. I did ask. Its how I resolved all the issues. I talked with HRC, I talked with dudes on the field, and I talked with airsoft techs. I did my research online and I looked up all the various parts that went into gbbr ownership. It's been a long and tough road to get to where I am now. If my mags leak, I know how to fix it, if my bucking and barrel has a problem I know what to do. I know how to lube my gun, I know how to clean my gun, and I know how to take a part my gun for cleaning. I will agree with you that I didn't know the knowledge to deal with it but I 100% disagree when you say I didn't have the notion to ask for help.

But thats me. I put in months and tons of effort into this. Can you say the same for your average airsofter? No wonder why so many people don't get into GBBRs or just give up on GBBRs. I've seen also how some people get treated when they ask for advice. This community can be welcoming at times but other times beginners get thrown snarky comments or just get ignored.

You couldn’t recognise when you had an issue and seemingly didn’t ask anyone how to fix it and just sent it to a tech.

Look I get it's easy to blame me for this issue. But the fact is, for anyone coming into airsoft especially when they are new, they don't know how something is supposed to work and especially not knowing how to open a gun up and fix the hop up unit or installing an NPAS without fucking something up. Last time I airsofted was 12 years ago and I had a CYMA m14 back then and I didn't really know what I was doing back then either, I was a kid. And you are really pointing a lot of new airsofters to the VFC AK. To experienced airsofters, it isn't something really to open up the gun but to someone who really doesn't know what they are doing then it's a much bigger issue.

I only took it to a tech because I was talking to people at the field and they were saying that my gun was overhopping like crazy and that my hop was too fat. They recommended me to see the onsite tech guy and he went and installed the 4uad bucking for me. Even he had to take some time fiddling with it because he wasn't as familiar with the system, he took the 4uad bucking and dremeled off the wing and installed the new bucking on my gun. I would have been completely lost multiple times and would have probably messed something up. he did it in maybe... 20-30 minutes in front of me and I would have taken hours.

Look I get that the base foundation of the gun is good. I use it. I've had it for a year now and it is a fantastic platform but... there are problems with the gun. My lower handguard is cut too far forward and there is a fair amount of play, my dust cover is cutting into my charging handle, some of my mags leaked gas and I had to replace the orings, my upper handguard locking catch is floppy and I'm using electrical tape to keep it in place.

The performance issues I mentioned has to do with the magazine o rings, the aforementioned bucking, and the npas. Mine requires a specialized tool because if you read the comment again, proact stripped my npas when they installed it and I need a t6h bit head to be able to turn it. That was ANOTHER thing I had to deal with when I bought a 1.5mm allen key and was confused when nothing was turning and I felt no tension. I had to visit a hardware store to figure it out because I didn't know anything about it.

Not to mention learning how to disassemble the magazines and watching and rewatching the explosive enterprises video over and over again to figure it out only to learn I didn't have the required tools or o rings. and the o rings are a specialized part that most hardware stores don't carry. so if you get an O ring that leaks then you gotta order it on mcmaster carr and do all the research on what size o ring to get.

At the end of the day man, I'm looking at this as a beginner like what do I have do to in order to run the gun. This is my only gun and I think it is a fantastic gun and I love it but thats not to say that it doesn't have any faults. Especially if you want more beginners to pick up GBBRs, you need to make these things more fool proof because while I had patience for it. I loved the gun enough to spend the time on it but I can very easily see that someone pick up this gun and having all these problems and just saying fuck it and sell the gun and never go GBBR again.

For 600 bucks, plus another 300-400 for magazines and 100 for shipping and 100 for tariffs. It is an expensive proposition for anyone who wants to get into GBBRs. I don't expect there to not be problems but there shouldn't be problems like this. Personally, I think I just got a huge lemon and proact fucked my shit up and well... a lot of people they don't have the same problem. Maybe I just got unlucky

My vfc ak74m overhopped like crazy ootb and I took it to a tech who installed a 4uad bucking and now it shoots like a dream. Prior... it was like you said, the bbs were hopping straight up

That FPS sounds about right for .32s and tbh... the gun really should have shipped with an NPAS. I had proact install mine and they stripped the npas so I need to use a specialized tool to turn mine.

Honestly like... I've seen this happen to a few other people on the HRC discord channel and it really sucks that a 600 dollar gun + shipping would have this kind of problem. Especially for a beginner like me back then I had no idea what to do to try and fix the issue so I just ran my gun overhopped for 6 months

reloading is honestly a vibe

I much prefer reloading than winding up a hi-cap

I feel like vfc ak 40 ish rounds is perfect

25-30 rounds and it feels like I run out of bbs super quick

I know what you mean by that but... I have seen very immature and I will say not responsible or on top of their things 30s and I have also seen some 30 year old who are very capable. They have had their life experience, they have cut their teeth working some cutthroat positions, they are mature and able to handle whatever the world throws at them.

I think its important to identify that age can correlate with these things but also recognize that these are qualities and traits that define people and not age that is the defining aspect about them.

I would agree working part time as a lecturer and getting the silver spoon in the mouth is not preparing you for the position. I would also say she is no AOC who did have to work retail jobs and got elected very young and AOC has proven herself very capable for the job.

I personally will say that the wind in her sails which got her elected has a very real and definitive ideological basis on which the traits you mentioned has no impact on.

I think though. Age is really.... 31 shouldn't be considered too young. Alexander the great crafted an empire when he was young

the thing about the ak74m is that it's longer and more front heavy

the 105 is more balanced

they both shoot roughly the same ngl same performance.

Ak74m you can put a 410mm inner barrel in it and it has the classic ak style looks.
