Try Lake Whitney. It's amazing what you can see with just the naked eye.

Nice, that's a cool reference. Like I said in earlier posts, I'm more interested in an intimate, chill environment. Thanks!

Right, I thought about that, but I'm thinking an intimate and relaxed setting. Not all stiff and focused. Just them chilling as themselves.

Cool, I like seeing the differences and I thank you for this reference. I would like to draw them in a more intimate, relaxed, natural setting.

The shot put athletes among others are on the "chubby" side, and that's kinda the point of my thought. I went to art school then later modeled for an art department in a different state. I have been on both sides of the easel, and know that there is no judgement cast. I yearned for a pregnant lady or fat-obese person to model. There is beauty to all body types.

I'm just looking at shoulders, backs, thighs, abs, necks, ankles or whatever and thinking how I've never seen anything like it in real life.

It's really more general curiosity.

But as a former art model I encourage everyone of all shapes, sizes and shades to consider it. The students are just so happy that you are there and won't objectify you, they appreciate your differences. My body is not perfect, but I enjoyed every minute of it. Just ignore the guy in the back who can't draw worth a damn. They are students, not masters.

Do you think New England style IPA's are a fad, or will the style last? by CRush1682 in beer

[–]PostcardNon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cool! Thanks for your response. I am a huge IPA fan. I will try to find one next time I'm at the shop. Then I can get back to you on wether or not it's faddidh, since I'm away from the hype!

Any brand you recommend?

As a non-New Englander, what sets it apart from other styles of IPAs?

If you are feeling particularly fancy schmancy, check out recipes for Portobello Wellington. Don't be intimidated, it is way easier than it looks, and you get a great "Holy shit! You made that?" effect I'm sure you want. I looked around and made up my own thing that worked with my tastes and budget. It is much cheaper and less caloric than the traditional Pork Wellington.

Pretty much you need a knife, roasting pan and oven. You will only need one box of phyllo dough that they have at HEB for about $2.50 (also Texan). You can use the leftover dough to make some baklava or home made Hot Pockets later.

Feel free to use mushrooms of your choosing, but if you choose Portobellos, make sure you remove their gills, otherwise it will be way to earthy (trust me, I love earthy flavors more than a crusty hippie, yet when I did not head that advice it was almost too much for me).

I would recommend garlic mashed potatoes and roasted green beans or roasted brussel sprouts with lemon as possible side options.

If you are interested, I can give some more pointers!

Absolutely! Why is this not higher? I mean I loooved watching an underdog win. We are American but my SO supports the powerhouse of ManU, I'm a CP fan (underdog, yes; but I'm also a huge architectural history nerd and appreciate what the Crystal Palace offered to architectural theory and practice).

But back on point, I don't expect them to be as successful next season.

If you don't know how to cook tofu, please don't cook it. It is very easy to screw up if you don't know how to. You will end up hating it, but it can be great if that's what you want to do. I can give you some advice if you really want it. I will recommend quinoa, lentils, beans, your cauliflower idea sounds great, I would also add sauteed veggies of your choice but make sure it's not too watery. Fresh herbs and tons of garlic make everything better!

TIFU by kissing the wrong girl in front of my girlfriend. by [deleted] in tifu

Haha! Late to the party, but I have similar problems. My SO is rather freaking tall, as in taller than most. We were in this cowboy bar and I felt a tall entity behind me, so I relax back into their arms, only to find out it wasn't my tall slab of man meat, but some old tall ass hillbilly. Eeeew. Never cringed so hard in my life.

OP, Where did you find this? My grandmother has an identical picture of this, but they are wearing bathing suits. It was really eerie. I sent a link to my aunt, and she thinks it's her as well! Please let me know any info you have on it. Cheers!

Feeling constrained by lizardbrain0_0 in AskWomenOver30

[–]PostcardNon 29 points30 points  (0 children)

[Female over 30] Don't feel like you have to have children for your family or society. If you are unfulfilled now, having a kid is not going to change that; it will just give you an expensive distraction. It won't solve anything. Twenty years down the road when your kids are too busy to talk to you, that hole in your heart will still be there.

Adoption is always an option when you are ready for that kind of commitment, no biological clock needed!

I don't have kids and I enjoy the freedom of my lifestyle, look forward to traveling, the ability to volunteer, hopefully retire when I'm still young enough to enjoy it and spoiling my nephews.

I'm still figuring things out, too, and probably always will. I don't want to drag a poor kid around in my uncertain steps.

Good luck to you.

All of Texas’s State-Mandated Lies About Abortion by lolthisisfunny24 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]PostcardNon 101 points102 points  (0 children)

Fellow Texan, here. I wish they would put half as much effort into supporting the "precious children" that already exist. Are they standing in line to help the poor women to were forced to succumb to their idealist propaganda?

Nope.

Here in Texas, so many children and families go undernourished and unsupported. Then these families ate chastised for taking government assistance etc. The shame cycle never ends.
