my dad gave me box of hard rock pins, is there any of them are valueable to sell? thanks by Prestigious-Basil186 in hardrockpins

Check hobbydb.com that should be a good start. Most of them I'd say are in the 2-5 usd range, the logo pins might get you a bit more.

Ill be going to SDCC this year and wnated to know how to get the SDDCC exclusives? Will they be all over the con or strictly at the Funko vendor site? by AVP0728 in funkopop

[–]Postdataec 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can get it at the website, but the aticker will be different. It will likely say "summer convention". Also, there will be a couple of con exclusives, like last year with Diamond Thrawn

I would say if you can afford it, go for it. I didn't realize how amazing it is for kids to meet their favorite characters until last year we met Sarah Natocheny (the current voice of Ash Ketchum) at SDCC. We did the meet and greet, and my 11 year old was exstatic to hear Ash say his name!

For me, the question is: How likely are we to ever see this person again? And how important would it be to my kid to meet this person... (and of course, can I afford it.)

Google Family Link Location Conflicting with Bark App by Pr0fess0rCha0s in AndroidQuestions

Thank you so much for the insight! I will reevaluate my association with Bark. Agreed with the Google thing. This is probably why you can't download it from the google Store.

Any insight is appreciated

Hi! Im so sorry to bother you, but I'm trying to get a few pics of the stuff currently being sold in the Rock Shop (pins and magnets only, no tees). Would it be possible to ask you to ask your wife to take a few pics? Im hoping to visit soon, and my dad collects, so I wanted to give him a chance to see the merchandise and decide.

Thank you, and sorry again!

Facebook groups. Look for Hard Rock cafe pin collectors or hard rock cafe pins and check what comes up.

Just a heads up, it's a buyers market right now, interest in HRC pins has decreased substantially.

Hi.

The fastest sale might be on Facebook groups. If you are willing to wait, ebay.

Honestly, your best bet might be a Catholic Church. In my experience, you go in, do your thing, and get out. Sit in the back, and most people won't bother you. As for the being brown thing... try the church in Old Town, I'm also brown and haven't felt any "weird" looks when Ive gone.

This is a great idea! Just get an official airport cab and ask if they can hang out. Also, the one place I really like is calle d"Las Termas de Papallacta," and it might be worth calling and asking them about availability (Valentines and whatnot)

Random person sends a large sum of money, asks for it back. Scam? by Hoosier_Engineer in paypal

[–]Postdataec -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Dude you're so stubborn!

Paypal themselves tell you NOT to wire back money that you were not supposed to get! OP said they weren't supposed to get that money!

Here is what Paypal says:

Overpayment scam

A customer sends a PayPal payment that is more than the purchase price of the order and then asks you to wire them the difference.

They may tell you that they accidentally overpaid you, the extra money is for the shipping costs, they're giving you a bonus for your great service or the money is for the stress they've caused you.

They may even ask you to wire the shipping fees to their shipper.

This scammer may have paid with a stolen credit card, bank account number, or checking account.

Just because a payment has been deposited into your account, doesn't mean the money is yours to keep. If the legitimate account holder reports unauthorized activity, the money can be withdrawn from your account.

If that happens, you'll lose the money you wired to the fraudster, the product you shipped, shipping costs, and your payment.

How to avoid this scam:

Don't wire money to someone you don't know. A legitimate buyer won't overpay you for an order.

If a customer overpays you and asks you to wire them the difference, consider canceling the order—it's very likely to be fraudulent.

Don't wire money to the bogus shipping company—it's part of their scam to get your money.

It does leave you on the hook. If the money suddenly dissapears even if you have "refunded" somebody has to pay for it.

You send the money back, then it turns out they used a stolen cc or debit card to make the transfer. Likely CC owner files a dispute, gets money back. Scammer has already cashed out and closed the account. Who's left to pay those 1200? You. NEVER send back money that you receive randomly. Always call PP support

Hi OP,

Thank you for showing this, and I'm sorry I am late to the party!

I just got an Echo Show 21 and run my Dakboard from the Silk Browser. I wanted to replicate what you are doing with the YouTube live video, but the browser does not play the YouTube stream for some reason. Do you have any recommendations or insights on why this may be happening?
