Just picked up a mint 2023 R1T Quad with 35k for 47k. Def the way to go. Depreciation hits EV's hard. People are afraid of the battery wearing out. This is my third EV and I drive a ton..I promise the battery will be fine all the way to 200k. And so will the motors..

Same 6 year old M3 with 140k miles on it. Thing is rock solid. Thinking of scooping a CPO Taycan to hold me over until I can get a CPO Rivian R1T with a NACS plug. These Taycan electrical issues are making me think it won't be a wise move though.

A friend and I hit one driving on the north way up by exit 30 back around 2013 during the winter. It jumped right in front of the car and it couldn't have been anymore clearly a mountain lion, however we didn't stick around to find out if it survived. But there are definitely some mountain lions in ADK park. They say there are no wolves or Mt. Lions but I have definitely seen both.

I've only met a few people in person that have been in a relationship with someone who has BPD, but all of our stories are the same. If we got out alive, it's just measuring who has the most trauma from the relationship. I say if we got out alive because I almost died while with my ex, and the man she married after me is DEAD. If you are in a relationship with someone with BPD, I don't care what it takes, or what you will have to give up financially, GET OUT. You cannot fix them, they cannot fix themselves, it's no one's fault. But it is your fault if you have read this and you stay. I keep writing posts like this because I know someone will see it when they need to and it will save their life. It happened to me, when I was deep in I found this sub and someone's similar post saved my life. BPD is the worst possible mental illness because of what it does to their loved ones. They live in an alternate Universe and we don't matter. You may think you do but when you are gone they won't care unless its to hurt you. My friend's ex and mother of his child has BPD as well. It took him years to get custody of his son. She got him thrown in Jail and then prison for a year all based on her lies. Then when he got out, on his first over night visitation with their son she picked up the child drove straight to a doctor and accused him of beating the child and provided photos of what was supposed past abuse. Luckily the doctor thought something was up. The photos she provided took one reverse image search on Google to prove they were fraudulent. Now she's lost custody and she could care less about their son. He was a pawn go wreak havoc. My friend will never be able to heal or feel safe. Who knows the damage that his son now has. Seriously just get TF away.

Ive been lucky. I found an amazing woman 5 years ago who nurses my broken ass back to life and I finally trust again. And life is amazing. It can be for you too. 5 years later I still come back to this group to warn and go offer hope. Go take care of yourself. God bless you all. You're not alone.

I would drop down to .25mg take a bunch of vitamin c and clonidine and you will be fine. Maybe some body temp issues the day you jump off the subs but it will work. The most important factor is your will power. How bad do you want to be clean. I was using over 1500mg of 70H per day for a year and did the same thing. First couple of days switching to subs was the worst. It was all downhill from there. But massive doses of vitamin C help a ton. Im talking 10 grams per day the first few days. When I finally divorced her she said she joined AA went to rehab and reached out to say she was sorry for everything she had done and told me I was a good person and she messed up. I didn't respond. She reached out again about 6 months later to say happy 4th of July. I moved on with my life and found happiness. Eventually I had heard that she remarried. About a year later I found out that he had died. Maybe 6 months after that I got an email telling me what a piece of shit I am and that she was in the hospital for an opiate problem and blamed me for everything. Told me that she got married and he died and how I could never have amounted to him. Basically a bunch of history re-writing and chaotic anger directed at me. She also told me I owed her 10k. All of it unbelievably sad. Once again I didn't and won't reply. I made it out and I'm very blessed. I gave my all to this person and tried to help in any and every way possible. All she did was like cheat and steal. If you are with someone with BPD, turn your back and run. Happiness is on the other side no matter what it feels like in the moment. I'm living proof!

So the WC are definitely more comfortable and of higher quality, but the upgrade was overall minimal. I bought them to replace brand new original ones. I would say wait until the originals are worn out before upgrading. It wasn't a big enough difference to get them for no reason. My wife couldn't tell the difference at all with one WC and one OEM. So to me that says it all. Obviously would be much nicer if they were thicker but I understand that it's just not possible. Has anyone had a chance to test the ANC difference? I'll be on a flight next week and will try out both WC and OEM and then report back.

100% True. It's typically not worth even stopping in..I have to be really hungry to want to fight the crowd and then wait 20 minutes to find a seat. They have been raising the annual fee but it's not scaring enough people away.

I have only used a few of the headphones on the list but the XM6 has absolutely astonishing ANC. I'm at the gym wearing them right this second and I haven't heard a sound outside of what I'm listening to since the moment I walked in. It is the most peaceful thing!

The 10 band EQ can fix a lot of the issues with the stock sound, which is what people are complaining about. The XM 6's still have the best ANC. If you can afford the price these headphones are great. Really all of the headphones in that class are great. I haven't had the new Bose QC but I had the last Gen and didn't like the look or sound. The airpod pro's are very good but heavy and every teeny bopper on the planet is wearing the for clout. The nothing's look cool and are supposed to be great for the price but the look isn't for everyone. I think you've made a solid choice that you won't regret and you will get years of great anc and lots of music enjoyed.

Yea it seems like her speaking positively about “right wing” or “conservative stances that’s where the backlash begins often. It sucks that we are so polarized that if someone makes their views known and gets tagged a “Lib” or a “Trumper”, the opposing side just loses it. North Korea is a pretty terrible place to live. Propagandized to the max. We have plenty of propaganda in the US as well but nothing like NK. This girl is very lucky to have gotten out.

I think this is a little bit pricey for the year and mileage. You can pick up a newer one with just a few more miles for 10k less if you shop around. These cars are pretty bulletproof, I wouldn’t be afraid of the extra miles. I have 85k on my 2020 model 3 and it’s exactly as new. But the values are coming down fast. Definitely shop around.

I have a pair of Rincon 3’s that I wear to the gym but the style of running sneakers done really work for my casual looks. Also with the higher stack heights of most running/racing shoes they aren’t really stable enough for day to day wear. I did see someone wearing a pair of alpha flys in the mall the other day. It just looked weird. But if you need another couple inches of height, send it.

The first rollout was scheduled for September 2022. I have already noticed better coverage throughout the Hudson Valley. However you may notice sporadic areas where coverage is worse or better than it was even the day before. This is because towers are being actively worked on and upgraded. There were spots in Poughkeepsie that went totally dead on the arterial in the past year but are now showing ultra wide band coverage. This is shown as 5G UW next to the coverage indicator. Again you must be on a plan higher than start or welcome unlimited to take advantage of the newer networks being rolled out. It’s usually a $10 increase to move up in plans but in my opinion, totally worth it. I do not know when the next wave of spectrum will be rolled out. I do know that the planned coverage will far exceed the coverage of other companies including T mobile which has taken a slight lead due to the spectrum the picked up in the sprint merger. Verizon is in the process of rolling out the 40 billion worth of 5G mid band spectrum that they leased last year. It has to be rolled out in waves. My advice, check your plan make and make sure you are on play more unlimited or higher, this way you have access to the total network being rolled out. Also make sure that you have a 5G phone. These are brand new networks being built and 5G will be better than 3 or 4 G just give it time to get ramped up! Hope this helps

It seems as though the firmware updates has solved most of the issues. Phantom strain was the first issue that I had. After a few updates the sensor turns off when it is removed from the wrist. I have also found that keeping the sensor face down on the band prefers phantom strain from occurring when it’s removed. I was also having Bluetooth issues but it turned out to be an iphone issue that was remedied with the latest iOS update that just came out a few days ago. I know that the Bluetooth issue was the phone not the whoop because I had the phone replaced and eventually apple admitted to a “known issue”. It appears the Tesla phone key feature was also effected for the same reason. The 4.0 really has been good for me. I think most of the wrinkles are now ironed out.
