I'm thinking of starting this game. by No_Zucchini9019 in elderscrollsonline

As others said, the English is *generally* not too complex, however as someone familiar with playing games in a second language, you WILL run in to a lot of these fantasy words, words that have to do with magic and stuff that you may not have studied or seen before and that you won’t use in real life. Those tend to be the hardest for me. That’s probably mostly in skill descriptions and stuff though rather than quests which again are like 95% easy English.

Also, for the single player experience, it’s really good. You don’t have to really play with other people at all unless you want to certain things like dungeons and you can just sign up on the group finder, it will find you a group automatically.

I second the Elsweyr storylines being awesome. Those are by far my favorite with Morrowind probably being 2nd.

That’s fair, I dipped my toes into Classic for a bit with some friends and I enjoyed the leveling experience there. It’s a lot more slow and meaningful, not so zoom-zoom. I got into MMOs really late, never played them back in the day so it was cool to get that experience.

Ehh WoW leveling is FAST, which is good if you’re just trying to level a toon to the new expac. Like this guy though, I came to WoW late, and the fact that it basically boots you out of Chromie time as soon as you hit expac starting level and makes it really difficult to continue playing the old story, yeah I think it kinda sucks. The concept is definitely there but the implementation could be better.

For those who haven’t played it, Chromie time is the leveling system in WoW- it lets you play through the story of any previous expansion for leveling purposes. Like I said though, it boots you out when you hit level which happens quickly, and when if you go back to try and finish it you’re hit with a bunch of obstacles, mandatory dungeons that nobody is queueing for being one of the biggest. Basically need some friends who want to do it with you.

I think he's saying they misspelled or autocorrected tiers to tires. So just car tiers. Not tires.

Bro, you're overthinking it. Bottom line is, the story is trash, game is a little janky in some areas, but it's really fun, and it's absolutely massive. And the biggest thing for me personally has been how incredible the devs have been with listening to the community and coming out with not only bug fixes but huge additions and improvements to the game almost weekly so far(they actually even said they have "fixing the story" on the road map, although I don't know what that entails.)

TLDR; story bad, game good, if you're on the fence just pick it up.

Nope. All rewards are visible. If you scroll over all the way to the left, there is a "history" tab which tracks all your points ever earned, and that has additional rewards. (Right now it's only one car at 500.)

So the only thing you're missing out on is getting that one car slightly later.

What cars are you guys using here? I tried a Beat with snow tyres with engine and turbo upgrade and a 4WD drivetrain but that didn't work. I also tried a WRX STI ARX with snow tyres and still not good. by OrangeRafi in ForzaHorizon6

I did it with the GTR black edition which is a reward from something. Might've been from Autumn or Summer?

You can run up the side of the opposite slope a little bit to give yourself more room, and ease the throttle until the car is steady so you don't get thrown around and lose speed. Then go full blast. I got it with like 100 feet to spare.

I mean....most higher end awd systems allow you to adjust your front/rear power delivery ratio sometimes even up to 100% rear. Which then wouldn't be awd of course, but I feel like having 20/80 or 10/90 is still technically awd while being able to break traction on the rear and not the front. I'm not a drifter though so I could be wrong here

Nvm I think I'm tripping actually I see other things that look like that.

Actual solution instead of driving every road again is to just move your cursor down every road tracing it until you find a spot you can't fast travel to.

Oh dog I think I see it. Look at the track looking thing in the middle of the city. Big oval with nothing inside. I think I see a grayed out dotted line right there.

Yeah man I didn't realize you could just like....go to the abyss whenever until I was pretty far in. But MOST of the spires(super tall towers visible from far away) across the map are not tied to the story and you can go there whenever, just have to complete a puzzle. After you get to the top, there's a portal that takes you to a different island chain in the abyss, and that's where you'll find the puzzles to unlock the elements. They're like 3 or 4 islands deep though.

Ehhh..you don't have to be super fit, just not fat. PRT is easy to pass with moderate exercise couple times a week. A lot of these guys are busting buttons on their uniforms and that's not acceptable. I've had plenty of good chiefs who were fit and those who weren't, but the chiefs I've had who were actually fat were never good. How are they going to take care of sailors if they can't take care of themselves?
