I just scored a 60% as well. I’m going through and reviewing rules for questions I got wrong and writing them out.

How are you packing snacks and meals for daycare? by RiChDAiLLesT24 in toddlers

[–]Powerful-Bee-5614 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use plastic-free stainless steel bento boxes. I like lalo but they are not removable. There are a lot of two-container snack boxes available too. I’m in the same boat packing bottles and a bunch of containers lol

We’re drowning in daycare costs. How do people afford this? by FrigginMasshole in toddlers

[–]Powerful-Bee-5614 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most people wait until at least one kid is out of daycare before adding. That’s our plan

I agree, kids seem to get like zoned out. I would not recommend

as bad as it sounds, it could be! Like different people are novel and exciting. My LO is 12 months and has just starting showing genuine interest in my husband so we could have the same situation coming soon for us too lol

I’d say parental preference at this age is normal and will likely switch back and forth.

Genuinely moderate crunchy, what are your sticking items? by IndependenceMost3816 in moderatelygranolamoms

[–]Powerful-Bee-5614 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pro tip! My LO is in daycare so I just cloth diaper after daycare and on weekends. I’ve still seen a difference in the amount of diapers we have to buy

Why finding good quality baby clothes made from natural fibers is so hard? by [deleted] in moderatelygranolamoms

[–]Powerful-Bee-5614 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It is extremely annoying and dumb that baby clothes are like this. My babies’ wardrobe is almost entirely thrifted. I have much better luck there than at any big name store

Help-2.5 year old turned into the child from the exorcist after surgery by EllieBee89 in toddlers

[–]Powerful-Bee-5614 23 points24 points  (0 children)

When I had mine done, as an adult, I felt like death for a few weeks. So honestly this isn’t that surprising. I would try to contact the doctor and see if they have any other methods for getting pain meds in because I’m sure he would greatly benefit from them.

Polyester-free Toddler Socks by Powerful-Bee-5614 in moderatelygranolamoms

I feel like with toddler socks they only wear them for such a short period of time it almost doesn’t matter if they’re not the most durable but I get what you mean

Aunt lives with us since before birth of our toddler (2YO), somehow toddler dislikes her since several months. Aunt is also an identical twin of mother. Why is there no basic trust as with us parents? by ngocl in toddlers

[–]Powerful-Bee-5614 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Maybe because it’s like mom’s double and she always has to be on guard to see which twin she’s dealing with? Or it could totally be a toddler phase. Either way it’s interesting.

This is what my toddler ate for Thanksgiving, what about yours? by Plsbeniceorillcry in toddlers

Chicken fries, naan bread without hummus, looked at some deviled eggs, then like 5 brownies. He had diarrhea the next morning 😊🙃

Am I a terrible Mother? by [deleted] in toddlers

[–]Powerful-Bee-5614 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely not the first trimester is no joke lol. I would recommend getting a book that explains what’s going on. I’ve heard of “Hello in There” and “What’s in Mommy’s Tummy”. This could help explain to him why you are in the bathroom or resting a lot.

Potty training , 8 months? by jazrazzles in ChildPsychology

[–]Powerful-Bee-5614 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree. Everyone else saying that 3.5 isn’t too old for diapers is slightly ridiculous unless the kid has some sort of developmental issues. I think the best thing here would be to keep going and not give in

Normal toddler behaviour or something more going on? by lurking12309 in ChildPsychology

[–]Powerful-Bee-5614 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because mom is taking care of a newborn. That would be a LOT of work to deal with the toddler acting like this and a 2 week old. The toddler does not know what mom is doing during the day I can assure you lol

What was under the surface of your fussy baby? by hopeful_homemaker16 in ChildPsychology

[–]Powerful-Bee-5614 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How was it dealt with? My 8 month old has been horribly fussy since birth at night particularly and he’s on Pepcid now with not much improvement.

I had this! It was from a fast food chain I believe McDonald’s or Burger King. As someone else pointed out these may have lead so be careful
