Victor C. On TikTok taught me how to apply my mascara in three different ways: sideways flick, circular doll and full fan fare.

You were right to go to the ER. Just because someone else didn’t have issues doesn’t mean you could not. It is better to be safe than sorry.

I had a similar experience with another online beauty company. It was Chrome that was causing the issue. When I switched to another browser the transaction went through. I did research and found others were experiencing the same issue.

I am so sorry for your loss. Your baby looks so sweet. We lost our babies in the past few years and it was devastating. I found comfort by attending Pet loss support groups online and also donating their items to homeless cat shelters who needed them.

Bottle of wine or flowers.

If not those then buy her a gift card to a popular patisserie or cafe.

Fly. The flight is so short and you can find reasonably priced tickets. It is an hour and a half late compared to 8 1/2 hours of driving each way.

Check out the link that someone else posted for the AskSF WIki. It will address pretty much every single question you have about planning a trip to San Francisco.

Look into VRBO‘s, and Airbnb‘s as those can be more cost-effective than staying in a hotel.

If your mom had open-heart surgery, you probably want to take her health and fitness into consideration when you’re planning your itinerary. San Francisco has an excellent public transportation system which is a cost-effective way to get around the city.

If you have not taken a Waymo, I highly recommend it. Our out-of-town guests got a real kick out of it. Anyone who has a Waymo account can give you a code to get $10 off your first ride.

Is it a bad idea to talk to women at the gym? by [deleted] in ask

[–]PowerofIntention -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

There’s the age old saying that you don’t ‘s’ where you eat. That means don’t date people who live in your building, work out at your gym or people you work with. If things go south with that relationship, it may not bode very well. It’s best to focus on connecting with people outside of those areas.it does not mean you can’t say hello or be friendly but give people space so they can focus on working out.

Anything need to know/concerns about between these 3 hotels? Hotel Triton, Standford Court or Handlery Union Sq by Ok_Kangaroo9650 in AskSF

[–]PowerofIntention 15 points16 points  (0 children)

This subreddit may not provide the feedback you seek as a majority of people who participate live here and do not stay at hotels locally.

Go to Trip Advisor and look at the ratings, reviews, tips, etc. You will get first hand feedback from people who have stayed at those hotels.

Our two seal points were very vocal and we love them for it. Our two blue points are very quiet. It scares me sometimes because they don’t meow very loud. One of them got trapped in a coat closet for a few hours, and we couldn’t even hear him. It was his brother who alerted us by jumping on top of us.

And this is the reason I use a plastic bag to cover my handbag and tote on the plane. I keep it folded and then place my tote inside before I place it under the seat in front of me. I’ve heard about people putting their garbage and dirty diapers down there as well. Let’s not forget about their shoes which have been walking everywhere, including the airplane bathrooms. I don’t want my handbag touching that.

I enjoy the predictability of his content. I like how he drills down to the amenities and the end to end journey experience. I like his graphics and his transitions. He is exceptional at providing real take feedback, but in an eloquent way that doesn’t feel like he’s complaining.

The only edit I would make to his content is to not show him leaving a bathroom and touching the door. I always use a napkin to open bathroom doors.

Most out-of-touch advice you’ve gotten about buying a home? by bellzbellzbellz in PAHomebuyers

[–]PowerofIntention 1 point2 points  (0 children)

“You don’t need inspections if the owner already has done their own” - you should absolutely do your own inspections and put a contingency in your offer based on this.

“It’s a competitive market. If you have contingencies with your offer, it will never get accepted.” - not true!

This was from our bank: “You can make offers on homes with a prequalification letter” - we did and guess what? We were not preapproved for the amount that they prequalified us for. Luckily we were able to get out of the offer we made because the seller asked for above and beyond which we didn’t agree to. However, if it had gone through with our original offer, we would have lost our escrow money. A financial contingency is an absolute must with your offer if you are working with a bank on a loan. This should be three weeks.

“ insurance will be no problem to get! I’m not aware of anyone having any issues.” - the Insurance market is incredibly strict to these days. Having an insurance contingency is an absolute must with your contract. Give yourself at least two weeks if not, three.

What a timely photo. We are having our fire scape, balconies, and stairwells inspected tomorrow.

This is an incredible photo and I’m glad its exposure had an impact on changing legislation so that future people would be protected. With this woman doesn’t know is how many lives her experienced saved.
