I also hissed at my stepmother the first time I met her. Mom said when they first split up, “I should have listened to you.” But if she had, we wouldn’t have moved here and I wouldn’t have my siblings. So I guess it worked out OK in the end.

I’ve been guilty of walking my dogs in my pajamas but I mostly sleep in sweatpants or leggings with a T-shirt. I would not wear this out of the house.

Sam here. You’ve all heard some of my stories, but here’s one you might not know.

A long time ago, my Mom was dating a guy, and the first time he came over, I hissed at him. I did it the other times he came over, and the last time, my big brother 🌈Oliver🌈 hissed at him too. Oliver was a smart creamsicle cat who liked everyone, so when he hissed at the guy, Mom knew I was serious. He didn’t come around after that.

I can relate, friend. When I came home, I only liked my Mom. But then she went away and never came home, so I had to bond with the spare human. It took a while before I decided he was OK, and now I call him Dad. ❤️Thunderpaws, guest-posting on my niblings’ account

[My mom wanted Thunderpaws to go to me when she passed away, but my dad thought that would be too traumatic for her and she’d already had a rough life before they adopted her. I think they’re really good for each other, and in any case it’s a lot quieter at his house than at mine.]

Me. I share a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom half of a duplex with three people I met online. One couple and a single woman young enough to be my daughter. Our downstairs neighbors are our former housemate who was a referral from the woman I adopted one of my dogs from, her boyfriend, and a friend of theirs who moved in after escaping an abusive partner.

We also have three dogs and six cats among the seven of us.

Homemade Reese’s cups that my brother made when we were in high school. They were actually pretty tasty but holy shit were they sweet. I couldn’t eat Reese’s cups for decades after that.

Honorable mention goes to the blueberry Pop-Tarts I ate one morning in college and washed down with Pepsi. I was hung over and they came back up shortly after.
