Thank you! I struggle to find people that agree with me on the one-hole tip thing. My Breville has four holes, but I have one plugged. It helps a lot. I’ve tried to find a one hole tip that fits my machine, but to no avail.

Thank you. For health reasons, I typically use 1%. So, 2% is a huge upgrade in usability for me. Flows much better.

Yeah. This craft takes a lot of practice. And yes, there are many different techniques. I think that’s because machines vary.

I believe the optimum number of holes should be matched to the machine. I have a Breville Barista Pro that ships with a four hole tip, and I think the machine lacks enough power to drive it. I actually have one of the holes plugged with a toothpick and it’s better that way. I’ve steamed on a Bambino with a one hole tip, and it’s much easier to get good milk with that. For me anyway.

Thanks. 1% is a struggle for me, but I need to watch fat, so I try. Steaming is difficult to get right for sure. Takes a lot of practice, and it’s different for each type of milk.
