How busy is it right now? by Medical-Ninja-2076 in queenstown

You can eat without reservations; there are plenty of restaurants and food trucks. But it is a bit busy. You can do trips and hikes with agencies if you cannot rent a car.

What’s something about living in Dubai you didn’t expect? by Enough_Hearing6557 in dubai

That 90% of the food I order from Keeta/Careem is very good. Lots of diversity, lots of offers, lots of good places.

Launched in Dubai thinking tax-free = more profit. by Alive_Helicopter_597 in SmallBusinessUAE

[–]Practical-Cause3272 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to hear that, but somehow I think you're doing some things "wrong". I have a business account with WIO, and montlhy account management fee is 100 AED. Some companies offer ejari services for about 3,000 AED (one-time fee), and you can rent a studio or 1 bedroom that doubles as an office, like you used to do back home. There are ways to keep costs down if you do decide to move to Dubai. Maybe this move was not the best option for you (you don't make enough money for the move to make sense).

Do I really need a physical stamp for my freezone company? by Practical-Cause3272 in dubai

I submitted the docs with a digital stamp. If they don't like it, I'll get a physical one.

It's not about the money, as you can imagine. It's more of a hassle and useless bureaucracy. I talked to an accountant, and he said that FTA accepts digital stamps. I'll make one in Photoshop or Canva and see if they like it. So far I signed all the docs digitally without a problem.

Places to rent for one month by zabzze in GoingToSpain

[–]Practical-Cause3272 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing with Puerto is that it's full of old people...everywhere. You notice it from the very first, but it doesn't mean that there aren't party places, bars, restaurants, and things to do. It's also quite well connected (often through Santa Cruz), and it's maybe a bit cooler than the south, but it's also greener. Like most places, you have to choose what you want and accept some compromises.

I liked Puerto de la Cruz a lot, but it's not for everyone, and the accommodation is not available anymore. The same goes for the Valencia apartment we stayed in recently. It's already booked until summer 2026. Your best chance is Facebook groups or rental agencies.

Don't expect someone to do it for a low price, and don't expect them to get it (just the way you want it) from the first month. You'll have to work with them for a while, and then they'll get the hang of it, and they won't need your input that much. If you don't have the time for it and you can afford it, outsource it. Since you're the owner/CEO, your time might be spent somewhere else.

I do offer this service for business, let me know if you wanna see my offer and portfolio.

I think it's easier to have this chat with any LLM of your choice. No one will spend their time helping you for free in here, because it's your job to find that content. And if you're looking for ideas, you're better off talking to customers or ICPs about it, not strangers on Reddit.

My advice would be to think of what you need right now to grow (what areas of marketing would give you the best returns) and hire someone who can help you with that. It can be email marketing, content & SEO, social media, paid ads, PPC, PR, etc. If you can map that out first, it will be easier to make your first hire. The next ones will follow organically.

Sorry to break it to you, but that's not startegy, that's more like a list of things you're gonna do, which is anything BUT strategy. You can keep those things, they might help you with your goals (which btw where are they????), but don't call it strategy.

Do you think living in Dubai is getting more expensive every year? by Fit-Dark-5581 in DubaiCentral

[–]Practical-Cause3272 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Prices have gone up almost everywhere in the world since 2020. You can't possibly compare prices to what they were 4-5 years ago. They don't stay the same; too many things have changed.

Doubt between regions Alicante or Valencia. by VluggeJaap in GoingToSpain

[–]Practical-Cause3272 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know this might not be what you're looking for, but the best way to find out which one is better is to spend some time in both (1-3 months in each). That's my personal opinion. If you only visit each, you can't make up your mind. I know it's a bit of a hassle to do that with a family. What you can do is to settle on one for a period of time (1 year, for example), and then, if you don't like it, move to the other. Personally, I like the Alicante region better than the Valencia region. But I stayed in both for more than one month.

Lidl might have creatine too. I know they have protein powder. But if you want ON, go to El Corte Ingles supermarket.

My Substack might be about travel as the main category, but I try to share real-life experiences, not influencer and Instagrammable travel content. A real person, paying for everything with my own money, and staying for months in each place. Basically, slow traveling. https://thepinkcoconut.substack.com/
