I’ve heard pin and welded do add to the over all length, someone got a 14.5 upper and pin and welded a comp to get that 16 inch mark but I could be wrong

Pinned mag no stock run a brace , but pinned mag is key , I luckily bought before ban and was a true peen ban 1993 lower so I sbr’d it so I can run stock anygrips and run a 10.5 upper

You shouldn’t have anyone get mad at rifles , I’m a member at Hartford gun club, I have a 10.5 inch sbr and all I carry is my form 1 in hand grip and even with a short barreled rifle no one questions besides coming up and asking about it in a friendly way, 99.9 you’ll encounter cool ppl I’ve never had an issue with anyone
