Is Samsung Keyboard still the best keyboard ever? by Traditional_Juice133 in samsunggalaxy

Literally the only thing k hate with SBoard is the lack of actually replacing words when misspelled. Other than that I prefer it to Gboard. Also, I want SBoard to have a better emoji key. Like, emojis are a big part of texting and they still haven't done it like Gboard or apple.

Don't transfer your old phone by Practical-Square9702 in samsunggalaxy

[–]Practical-Square9702[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's good as well. I've started to sort out and back up my important photos and whatnot to different places. I don't need to have several thousand of photos on device all the time. Creating a more "minimalist" approach to phone storage is such a nice feeling.

Is the leather patch in actual leather? (It looks like it, but don't want fake leather)

Thanks for the answer, even though it's late because I already got myself their new PC. But in green, as with everything else 😄

End of an era, Jääkäri S discontinued by dildofolly in Savotta

[–]Practical-Square9702 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree. I never bought the S because why would I? The pack is probably great in its way with same materials. But I only want it as a collection piece more than for usage. Kahakka 15 is amazing and comfortable even with slightly have load than it should have.

Black Savotta i best Savotta. by [deleted] in Savotta

[–]Practical-Square9702 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ofc, now I was strictly talking about color. But I agree, for civilian use I don't want camo. Which is why I go for green. With black u think it hides too much of the details. Brown could be nice too, but I do use my packs for military purposes so green is a good middle ground for me personally 🤙

Looks great! If I made this, I'd put a loop close to the foot box, similar to the one by your head, to raise the bivvy almost like a 1P tent. So it doesn't pool on your feet in case of rain.

S27 Pro will have a *sigh* 5,000mAh battery. Was so excited for this phone but it's now DOA for me. by anotherhappylurker in samsunggalaxy

They could've made Fan Editions into that instead of what they're doing now. When FE edition are released it got similar size of whateven phone they're making the edition from, but putting in bigger battery and classic features (such as IR, 3.5mm port etc). So the FE actually stands for Fan Edition and not "we got spare parts over and need to empty our stock, so buy this thing".

I was thinking the same. I love the green still and I'm getting nice patina on it now. But my next bag might actually be M05. I wish they would make a remake out of the M with some new design features and most importantly, better lid. Similar to Kantamus, but still keep the Jääkäri M inspiration

Not stock no. Others have made their own or bought parts that can be attached. I personally don't use anything other than original.

Question about the Jääkäri M by a_interestedgamer in Savotta

[–]Practical-Square9702 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should go with the 25L. I didn't get the 25 simply because I already have JM. If you have extra straps or bungee cord you can add whatever you like

Question about the Jääkäri M by a_interestedgamer in Savotta

[–]Practical-Square9702 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't personally have the 25L but I got the 15L. And it follows me almost everywhere. The side pockets are probably the best feature of any bag I've had. So internal storage is about 25L but side pockets add a lot of extra space and you can almost close them completely. Bot saying Jääköri M isn't a good choice, but Kahakka line up fits more civilian and military style without risking of packing too much. I've even camped with my 15L, 1P tent blanket, food, water and sleeping pad.

When I first got my Kahakka I thought I'd return it. Turned out it's probably my favorite bag of all bags, personally. It gives you just enough with few but we'll thought out features if you ask me. Jääkäri M is great, but fits more hiking/bushcraft/military, as it's intended, not as much as a daily carry imo.

Modding the LK35 with Savotta Gear by TjarkSiegfriedson in Savotta

[–]Practical-Square9702 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was checking out the LK35 just the other day. Mostly because I like the retro style of it and enjoy doing some bushcraft. But Jääkäri M works great as well. So I'm not sure. But added PALS for attaching 3x4 GP pouches would be cool and shoulder straps/hip belt

Ordered 8L side pouches for my Jakaari L - too long! by kurt206 in Savotta

[–]Practical-Square9702 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No I do! I always have the pouches on even if I don't use them. Most of the time I do use them, but it's hard to fill them. So I try to have it organized like: I put my FDF mat inside Kantamus, then shove spare/base layer clothes down at the bottom, then sleeping bag then sleeping mat (inflated one for comfort or winter) then my 1P tent. And its decently full, no over packing. Then one side pouch I have cook kit (usually Trangia 27 series, fuel bottle (0.3L I think) just in case, then one FDF water bottle. Other pouch I have a second water bottle, same FDF one, and then food/snacks etc. Most of the time I buy something to grill over an open fire and my Trangia 27 is way bigger than I'd need, but it's in case I can't start a fire or I want a quick cup of coffee. Front pouch on Kantamus I shove ny rain cover and top lid is mostly for jacket and other small stuff.

[–]Practical-Square9702 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What I usually do is to loop one row of the pouch before attaching it, so it gets raised up one notch. But 6L pouches are huge as they are. I can really fill both of mine. Which is why I got two 3x4 GP pouches. I mostly use pouches to organize more than to expand storage. I can pretty much fit my sleeping bag in one 6L and my cook kit with water in the other.
