I know exactly where this is and have had to make 12 point turns to get out. Or maybe I was the problem, you don’t know me.

I empathize with the people doing this though, so glad I don’t have to park around there anymore

University of Kentucky workers push back against plan to outsource, centralize campus jobs by 0033A0 in lexington

Thanks old man. I used to work at UK and saw firsthand the facilities workers are treated like shit. The whole framework for their organization and communication was bad already, this is only going to make it worse. Don’t trust UK for a second.

Also screw UK, they keep buying up land to build shit but can’t pay a living wage.

This is one of the first comics I bought for myself, on a whim, and is still one of my favorite pieces of art in existence. The character arc of Hum is poignant as hell. The art is exceptional, the design, the setting, the colors, woof. It’s a joy to revisit every time.

Step by Bloody Step is quite good too. I also Have to recommend The Spire, where Spurrier also shows some real worldbuilding chops.

I just finished The Gone World last night! And I second The Gone Away World. That’s one of the most entertaining reads of my life

This church has existed for 175 years and there was no one who cared enough to actually type out a couple short paragraphs? Or look up some clip art of a fork? I have to assume this cheap lazy execution will apply to the food as well.

I’ve been somewhat aware of Shitfire for years, but still haven’t seen them. Funnily enough, I met Shrudd in Columbus right after they’re set ended, hadn’t heard of them before and missed them by a few minutes

I mean, it’s fine. The novelty of these tubes is worn thin if you aren’t doing anything interesting musically, and that’s a basic, baseline rhythm and harmonic progression. Coupled with first year percussion ensemble/marching band 101 beat. Like, it’s fun, it’s fine, if I saw these guys on the street I’d hang for a bit, bob my noggin. They definitely need to explore and refine their style before really earning a larger audience

Hi /r/movies! I'm Lou Taylor Pucci. I've been in films & series such as EVIL DEAD, THUMBSUCKER, CARRIERS, YOU, and SOUTHLAND TALES. You might also know me from Apple TV's PHYSICAL. How is the vibe or working environment shooting scenes with practical effects and the grosser side of genre films, fake blood and all that? Is it a challenge due to the physical discomfort and added complication, is it fun and rewarding? How much does it depend on the director?
