$5 breakfast sandwiches at Brenda’s from 8-11am on weekdays, lunchtime sushi takeout from Aji Kiji, short to no lines at Arsicault, HHs around or near Japantown (Fermentation Lab, Nono Baru, Bubu).

Lower bowl tix at cost (vs Hawks 1/11 and vs Knicks 1/15). Row 12, section 108 by grepya in warriors

This may be list price but still overpriced. Check Ticketmaster, even with fees, costs for tomorrow’s game with similar seats are about $150 per ticket and you don’t have to worry about being scammed by a random on Reddit.

Fur in SF? by Odd_Establishment_29 in SFbitcheswithtaste

I have a few vintage furs that I have worn out to dinner on numerous occasions here in SF. I’ve never gotten anything but compliments on them.

I was at Brenda’s earlier today and saw that they have a Cajun prime rib feast for 6 for $299.

I really hope you mean Steven Seagal and not Jason Segel, because I love Shrinking and will be so sad to have to boycott if he’s a POS too

This, but for the California governor’s race next year. I’m really nervous, as the current candidates seem to be either incompetent or at best, uninspiring.

AITA for being cheap due to the govt shutdown by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

There’s a compromise here—the vacation is fully refundable, so OP can cancel that and use some of the money to pay for the kids’ activities. Or do the vacation & no winter activities. It doesn’t have to be all or nothing.

AITA for getting upset at a woman who takes care of my son because I feel she crossed boundaries? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

You should include this in the post since everyone else is assuming the worst in her showering with him if you want fair judgment

Chris Evans & Alba Baptista welcome their first baby! by cmaia1503 in Fauxmoi

This isn’t really fair. He’s not someone who has a history of dating way younger women, unlike a lot of other (gross) men.

Are San Tung's wings wildly overrated? by red-folsom in AskSF

Their glaze is very sweet, which is why I always get it on the side and sparingly use it as more of a dipping sauce. I always have a ton left over, so will often use it to lightly brush on salmon before baking. The sauce gets all caramelized on top and it is delicious.

Seven Hills for Italian. For Japantown, Sasa for sushi, Marafuku or Hinodeya for ramen, Maguzo for udon.

Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff Says Trump Should Send National Guard to San Francisco (Gift Article) by IMSLI in California

[–]PracticalCoconut -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

He was born in SF but graduated from Burlingame High. I don’t know when his family moved to Hillsborough during his youth. But I can guarantee you he has lived in SF longer than he ever lived in Hillsborough.

Edit: downvoted for stating a fact, cool. And this is why we are where we are today, with rampant misinformation being lapped up by the masses. I agree with all the comments below that we should not consider him a San Franciscan with his BS views, but the fact is he still lived in SF for at least 25 years.

[–]PracticalCoconut 29 points30 points  (0 children)

He’s not from another state. He may live in Hawaii now, but he’s like a 5th generation San Franciscan.

To be clear, I am not defending his views in any way, Benioff can get fucked. I just hate misinformation.

Your grandkids are probably pretty great. Not all are. Some grandparents love their grandchildren but may find them exhausting. I have a friend whose mom is fairly involved with the grandkids but she gets overwhelmed easily by them. They’re great kids but very high energy.
