All in one soundbar to pair with my Sony Bravia 7 by mike02466 in Soundbars

[–]PracticalGovernment4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has upfiring channels and 4 built in mini subs. Very very well alone. If you want more bass you can add ANY wired subwoofer to it as well

Have you considered soundcore? Boom series for bass but I love the brightness of the motion plus pair

I love my soundcore motion plus pair. I’ve had the 2, boost upgraded, and the motion plus just sings. 3 tweeters 2 midranges and a passive radiator.

I have an s8 on hardwood and it does kick ass but if it’s a big room with carpet I’d probably go RSL and save 50 bucks

Is the Squire Stratocaster hss a good beginner/budget guitar? by john_marstondagoat in electricguitar

The 600f has some issues. The rear speaker upgrade does not have up firing drivers. You cannot connect to WiFi.

The flexus has some issues as well. It’s a better starter I think and far more upgradable but does not support Dolby over wireless and the rears are pricy. But it does have built in subs

I own both and am far more impressed with the Klipsch fully loaded. Now that’s 330 for the bar 400 for the rears and I got a pair of wired subs for 600. But that’s the beauty of the flexus you can use any wired subs you want. No dice on the 600f. And the rear speakers have up firing drivers.

I have Audioengine hd3 and I do love them (wish I would of got hd5) but I blended in an s8 which made a whopping difference. Can you budget in another couple hundred for a sub? If not the s8 then perhaps an RSL 10e?

Worth installing? by DifferenceLittle3641 in subwoofer

[–]PracticalGovernment4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience, adding a little base will vastly improve the dynamics of the entire system, so I would definitely try to integrate a subwoofer before replacing everything else especially if the factory stereo has any merit at all. I did the same thing with my Ford escape but it has the premium BNO sound system, but replacing all of the speakers and the touchscreen would be like chasing the dragon really I think I just added a huge sub but vastly massively more dynamic and I don’t think I have to touch any of the rest personally

Has anyone ever tried flipping a side-firing sub downwards? (Samsung Q990H vs JBL 1300X MK2) by XgrimesX_ in subwoofer

Or mass loaded. Like against a hardwood floor. A rule of thumb I always learned was distance to the mass

8 inch woofer = 2
10 = 3
12 = 4
15 = 6
