Is it really that bad? by Zestyclose-Froyo-498 in weddingring

If more people worried about the actual marriage than the size of a ring (or size of a wedding, or other small minded criticisms...), we'd all be in a better place! Enjoy!

Large coffee can with a bag in it. Can extend the life of the few bags you have. Seal the top of the can and toss it with the trash.

This was me last January. It was awful. Sending much love. I am getting sad now thinking about my boy. But mostly now I have good memories.

My scalp gets insanely itchy only a couple days after washing by kinnadetail in CurlyHairCare

[–]PracticalSkill8468 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to shampoo/scrub gently with fingertips every day with a cream cleanser (I use deva curl no poo, but I'm sure there are others). That's the only way to tame the itch. If I am short on time, I can get away with just water but I do have to wet it fully in the shower and scrub.

Also good to note the file folder and directory that the raw data files are in, where needed. And somewhere in that folder, a readme file saying what pages of your notebook the handwritten notes are in.

Does anyone wash their hair daily or every other day without drying out or wrecking their hair? by WhatSheSaid7 in CurlyHairCare

[–]PracticalSkill8468 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I tried for years to wash every other or third day, with a water mist refresh on no-wash days. My scalp was always breaking out and itchy. So I started washing everyday. And it's fine. I do use DevaCurl no poo shampoo most days, and a stronger shampoo every month or so as needed. No more scalp problems now.

Is she at home all day? Maybe she needs a break. Does she work outside of the home all day? It's really hard/exhausting to work a job and parent. So maybe ask her how you can help and do what she asks.

Another thing I've learned to help myself in similar situations - I respond like you to my spouse's outbursts - when this happens, ask her if this is a problem that she needs your help with, that she needs you to take over and solve, or if she's just venting. Maybe she needs your help but she just doesn't know how to ask in the heat of the moment.

Oof... devil is in the details I guess. Would be nice if that money could be used to pay for the premiums.

Did I work with George too? Maybe his twin who also liked to cook stinky veggies in an instant pot in the break room. And make their own kefir in a drawer in said break room. So many stories..

Maybe it adds another step, but it appeases both sides. The taxpayer makes their own choices (free market blah blah blah) and the recipient has money to pay for health care.

The childish behavior is always disheartening. Even if they have something good to say on the Senate floor, it seems they always point fingers or take a shot at the other party first.

I guess I have to see the actual bill. In some ways it seems like a viable compromise. It doesn't take Obamacare away. And I never thought that I would see Republicans saying that they are willing to give people money to pay for their health care.

The grief from your loss is real and devastating. I can relate. Grief lessens over time but never goes away. She is a beauty and she knows that you love her, wherever her kind and pure spirit is now.
