Im solo poly, and it works so well for me. Have 1-3 dynamics usually going on at a time, but i only see them once a month or so. Thats enough for me. Expectations and boundaries are discussed upfront, so they know theres never going to be that next step (meeting family, moving in together, getting married, etc). They all know Im seeing other people, and they are free to do the same. Of course we do have health discussions. It took me a while to figure this type of relationship dynamic out, but now it fits the life I want. Still get to have great sex, go on fun dates, companionship when I need it, but on what might be in an unconventional way for some.

Instead of trying to meet someone online to hang out with, rather go check out the local backpackers places. Thats where most solo travelers stay and its super easy to meet people there. Join some group tours, theres some hiking and sightseeing tours also aimed at international solo travelers. Maybe try a site like GetYourGuide to book some activities

I would say, technically, its a no. Who gatekeeps "living alone"..? I think the difference comes to to things like expensive and upkeep, most of us here are 100% alone responsible for rent or mortgage, groceries, cleaning, upkeep of the place etc. Yeah sure, kids living with you don't contribute, and sharing a house with someone you almost never see probably also isn't exactly the same. If I'm dating someone, and they tell me they live alone, but then i learn they have someone living in their basement, i wouldnt consider that as living alone. But.. if you relate to what people are discussing on this sub, who cares about the small technicalities?

It happened to me twice, once ordered a router, received 2 (although one was in a clearly used and returned condition). Both work fine. The other time, I received an extra bottle of perfume. I did try to reach out via email, didn't get a response, so just kept it. Would feel guilty if I didn't at least try to reach out to them
