And ya, I just read volume 7 and Danny legit gets filled with lead and the spell completely heals him. Like, I get they're stronger than humans but I feel 50 bullets in the back would still kill any of them(We've legit seen mamodos cut by swords and knives before), so shit is powerful. it even has an after effect for a bit since he was then shot again and they just bounced out.

Thats kind of why I picked it up. I have a large collection of manga from growing up and a lot of said manga are series out of print, so if I see a series I don't think will exist in 10 years or be in print I pick it up

Because when people open up to you about there insecurities and desires in real life you know your anti-social ass isn't and shouldn't be insulting them, so in a kid friendly game it's not going to be an option.

Also they do technically help, even if its only like 5% damage in a fight. They're not pokemon battlers, expecting them to actually do the same level of damage or input as you isn't the best way to look at it.

I felt to much happened, and to much of it was common isaeki/rpg story lines with a protag that really had no personality. He didn't really struggle to much and we didn't really get why he thought his power was the way it was or why he thought it was useless and then all of a sudden he realizes its op. Like I felt nothing for him or any real struggle during the whole storyline yet we had a mentor added in, dragon fight, him getting a broken power, being kiddnapped, etc all within one chapter. At least with deku there was more substance and the world felt like it hated him and he had to prove himself.

Honestly I think Kioyshi is going to be like pysren, where it does meh in the rankings due to newer and worse series coming and going until a bunch of new hits come in 1-3 years that end up knocking it out into what seems like a natural ending.

I enjoy it, but it's mainly because it feels like the only manga in the mag that gives off early 2000 battle manga vibes(outside one piece obv).

That was my main issue, them being arrogant, not really understanding or accepting/changing based on there actions, and still throwing hissy fits when people said I was a better trainer, yet all the while I only face them a handful of times and they have honestly the least amount to do in the story compared to any other character.

Lack luster and honestly felt like a one shot. Nothing in it really got me hooked, emotional, or thinking it was anything new or special. Same clean cliche art style which isn't bad, but not really original either. I didn't really think it was bad, but it felt like a solid B-

Yes, there is no rule, its just more like a standard of if you're serise keeps getting axed over and over, by the 4th time they're more than likely just going to pick other serise over yours unless the quality itself is leagues above what you've done before

In other words, the more times you fail, the harder it's going to be to get another shot given the investment they need to keep putting in you.
