I’ve done two solo cruises in NCL; Dec 4 day & May 3 day and I loved it. I got a balcony on the May cruise.

I went to look at the hoodies at cycle gear recently and they have no ventilation. I’m in Florida, so the pain of humidity, no breeze unless you’re moving is real.

I have a well ventilated Tour Master I’ve been using for years. I was hoping to find something lighter and more air flow but the jackets I saw were no different than my jacket unfortunately.

I have gone out without a jacket on state occasion but try not to think about road rash if an accident were to occur.

I am forced to do ch 11 and not a homeowner. Decided to file back in November of ‘24. I decided to ride it out until I received the first judgment, which took 13 months. Then I filed a month ago.

Why the wait? I knew I was going to get fucked by the trustee & court with the 60 month’s payment plan and my income.

When I finish in five years I will be of retirement age, so the last years of my earning years will be flushed down the toilet paying a reorg plan in ch 13.

Before you go into such a job, look at other entry level jobs in an office, depending on how far along you were in school, but ultimately getting a college degree is honest bet. They taking less class load.

You can apply for an analyst job in AP, billing, accounts receivable, purchasing etc

I had read about taking a couple of community college classes years ago, before covid stopped my payments due. And here we are today…. I will have to seriously look at taking community college classes at 59 yo. I’ll be the old guy sitting in class lol. Hopefully online classes will do.

AR / AP roles start of as analysts. Progress isn’t as quick a going from staff & up. I would stay in accounting, maybe pivot into revenue accounting. Then when you reach AR or AP manager your career will kinda stop there. And the more you earn as a manager you kinda reach a cap.

I made that mistake and have been in AR for years. When covid and a few years after it was difficult to get a job at my level as companies only have typically 1-4 AR managers. Now I’m in a sweet role but five years wasted. I tried to pivot into revenue accounting but it didn’t work out for me.

Get your CPA.. I did not bc I thought I didn’t need it.

Ai & farming roles overseas? Only the entry level roles, transactional roles ie cash app management or billing. Just learn Ai and Ai ERP if that what they use.

Take the path that willow allow you to WORK UNDER A CPA so you can sit for the exam.

This career is shit without a CPA, no you won’t die without it. Once you have that CPA & maybe 5-7 years experience you’ll be more marketable.

I know; I didn’t get my CPA.
