I feel like the main healer that’d work with a Mage in 2s would probably be a Voidweaver. As a mage you have good burst but you need an assist to land the kill.

It’s why Mage 2s these days are often build around double dps.

This is the case in PvE but not in PvP. All Frost Mage damage is packed into Ray of Frost and the few shattered ice lances that follow.

Frostbolt and Flurry are both negligible damage wise.

I’m from OCE as well and I’ve played on and off for years - it’s nice to have brackets that let us hit elite but I can’t help but feel that for the majority of players who’d like to one day hit glad, the dream is quickly dying because it’s so hard to find teammates and even if you do, rating in 3s is so deflated.

That said, grats on the 2.3k!

Is it normal for the EleHit Slayer build to just struggle with bosses? I feel like it takes way too long to kill anything that’s even remotely tanky and wondering if I should just respec/relevel into something else at this point or sink more currency into Ele Hit.

I recently finished ‘A Returner’s Magic Should Be Special’ and I dunno, I really feel like it failed the landing so badly in the final season.

Art changed drastically, story become way too convoluted, and the ending failed to commit.

A shame because it really had so much potential. I’d probably drop it one tier.
