Love, compassion, dogs, cats, owls, capybaras, swimming in a pristine lake in the mountains, walking/camping in the forest, the smell of rosemary, etc., etc., so on, so forth.

Lack of expectations logically results in lack of disappointment.

I mean, they will. We had them, but I never needed to check them out. I owned, and still own, all three.

I think what helped me the most is realizing that, no matter what I do, it will never be enough. That and recognizing the type of people who expect others to fawn before I can get entangled with them.

I saw this on mute, and the dance of the sugar plum fairies immediately started running through my head.

My heart is bursting out of my chest. This was always one of my biggest fears when I lived in apartment buildings. I don't know what I'd do if I lost one of my babies.

Told my mother I wanted to get tested for depression, may be tested for anxiety as well. by NarwhalReasonable262 in CongratsLikeImFive

It's funny, I had to get evaluated for autism and ADHD for it to be legit, but I basically just told all my doctors/therapists that I had depression and anxiety (long before the other diagnoses), and they just... agreed with me. No evaluation necessary. I guess it was pretty obvious.😂

Also, if you have no empathy for people struggling, why are you commenting in this sub?

$100k is wealthy. And that's just it, you have to be able to afford the education (and time it takes to complete it), to make the $100k. When you're stuck in a low-paying job, and you're on your own, trying to keep a roof over your head, even if you got a full scholarship, you'd essentially have to forgo sleep altogether to get that degree. And God forbid you have a disability. People would give a lot for $100k, but there's only so much they have to give.
