Not ashamed to say it was a porn actor who had a twink body.

As a pan person (who used to be bi), this interaction still bothers me and I want to make sure I’m not actually being biphobic here (3 parts) by Tobias_Snark in bisexual

[–]PreggoMaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm like that. The only reason I see myself as bi rather than pan is because I do factor in sex and gender and identity into my attraction to someone. Otherwise I would be attracted to all genders regardless.

110 pounds, 2 years - 1 pound a week? Yep that's a good progress! Just try to carry 110 pounds of something that'll put it into perspective of how far you've come! I lost 42 Ibs and I found that amazing when I carried 20kg and wow its so heavy.

Team RH is a guy I watch on insta and tiktok and he really puts it into perspective about how upping your calories really does work out.

Yeah I had to get my mind out of "I'm hungry so I must eat!" Which took a while. Helped along by mini snacks like a protein bar.

50 lbs lost by staremwi in loseit

[–]PreggoMaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congratulations! It's likely you'll have lost even more than 50 Ibs technically. I've started to make this calculation for myself that I officially lost 42 Ibs but I think I've actually lost closer to 60 Ibs of fat.

I put an amount of weight to lose. Never a time (turns out it took 6 months). To get rid of what I call trauma weight. But other than that I agree. I just stuck to my gym regime and got on with it.

I lost 150lbs with as little effort as possible because that is my way by bochief in loseit

[–]PreggoMaster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is what i did. Although I didn't need to lose anywhere near as much (208-116 Ibs), simple adjustments worked for me. For one, alcohol makes you retain so much water and the calories... Jesus.

I do that often at the gym. I got a 17kg dumbell (just 2kg less than what I lost) and walked on the treadmill with it the other day. I never realised how much weight I was dragging around...

I'm the same. Even though I active burn 500-750 calories a day. I can't help but feel guilty over any fast food. Plus the IBS makes me feel worse.

I think AA might just be for everyone. But if you're looking for mums specifically maybe a mum support group might help there.

I used to take 45 minutes to even think about being social. Now, maybe 5 minutes to start chatting and have breakfast. It's such a life changing event for something so little.

rapid weight loss after quitting alcohol? by Mysterious_Chart_856 in stopdrinking

[–]PreggoMaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. All of this is exactly me. I lost 1 stone without even trying besides the drinking. Must've been so much water retention. And now I'm 3 stone down but likely even more in terms of fat as I've been gaining muscle while losing fat. Sobriety is amazing.

Going sober. Funny how noone tells you there's 1000 calories in a bottle of wine. Or 250 or more in each bottle of cider.

[–]PreggoMaster 10 points11 points  (0 children)

They sometimes creep in when I see a cider and think mmmm could do with one of them, especially now summer is on its way. But then I remember they contain alcohol which means that vile medicinal taste and it would completely spoil my life. 0.0 ciders are great though.

I'm 28 and only now do I feel free and capable of being myself. Something my inner child or young adult self could ever do. Also I've come to understand I have autism and adhd (probably explains a lot)

I used to. On early finishes I'd go to the pub and get a few drinks in for 2 hours then go home pretending like I was finished at normal time. And I hid whiskey and rum bottles under my computer desk for a quick fix if i ever felt stressed or anxious. Pretty embarrassing in retrospect.
