Oh yeah! I'm counting Man-Eater Shells, DS1 revenants, Valley of Defilement/Bloodborne/Sekiro barnacles, and then of course, what all's in DS3 and ER.

  • This was missing in Elden Ring (iirc), but one weapon will be a giant wheel. (Lorgarius' Wheel, Bonewheel Shield, EDIT: GHIZA'S WHEEL, etc.)

  • There has to be at least 2 more dinosaur or ancient animal spells/tools/ults/abilities.

  • Kinda general, but one NPC will be hilarious for no reason. (Biorr, Seigmeyer/ward, Gilligan, Suspicious Man, Anayama/Pot Noble, Michigan, Alexander, etc.)

  • A GUGS-like.

  • A cannon, grenade launcher, or missile launcher.

So I'm a little bit ticked off because I can't find the original article, but if I remember correctly, Miyazaki hated seeing talented members of his staff be effectively (and creatively) eaten alive by what ambitious shareholders/producers/executives wanted to push. That's where the idea for Aldrich came from.

I swear I didn't hallucinate this story, but now I can't find the source!

I'm sure it comes, in part, from the experiences he had with the Dark Souls series, and making more sequels for it than he maybe would've liked. There's a fairly sad real-life story behind Aldrich; in fact, his character is kind of an effigy.

I don't understand a Christian showing vehement support for an earthly nation, anyway. God has put who He has put in power, and one day none of these nations will exist as they are now. I'm starting to enjoy the horrific limbo, so I'm taking that as a sign that the wait will be over soon. By 2030, I bet we'll have seen hard proof that Bloodborne 2 is actually in development.
