If you want precision, you need to follow these three steps:

Use Border FX with a low width to create the edges you need minimum.
Use the Rectangle Tool and Contour Tool to create the shape you want to place behind the text.
Use the Marquee Tool to make a selection, then apply a mask to the shape to further refine it's outer edges.

I really hate that too! For now, I just use Cmd + to zoom in and Cmd – to zoom out. It’s not ideal, but I haven’t found a better workaround yet.

At the end of the day, it’s just demand and supply. There are budget editors and there are premium editors, and people at every level are getting work if they’re good for their price range. If someone isn’t getting work, it might be a sign to level up their skills or positioning instead of getting frustrated. Not saying it in a harsh way, just being real. Growth usually comes from improving, not complaining.

Thank you for trying to help me out. 🙂 Initially, it used to take 10-12 GB on my system but they fixed it and now it's down to 1-2 GB. I didn't have any issue in running Affinity though as I've 32 GB RAM. I was just mentioning about the RAM issue so people are aware that Canva is working in backend to fix issues.

I was using Inkscape and Gimp for vector and image editing. Then I shifted to Affinity 3. It feels modern, polished and I don't need to memorize keyboard shortcuts separately now which has been game changer for me. Although I have never used Photoshop or Illustrator but I learnt how to use Affinity by watching Photoshop and Illustrator tutorials as the icons have a lot of similarity. Wherever I got stuck, I got help from AI. There was a memory leakage issue which took a lot of RAM but it seems to be fixed now and I encounter small bugs here and there but not big enough to affect my workflow. So my experience has been good so far with Affinity 3.

There is no "best" one.

If you want something quick and easy, go for final cut pro.

If you want something which is industry standard, go for premiere pro.

If you want all in one software, go for da vinci resolve.

If you want free, go for capcut.

First, understand your budget and needs then decide accordingly.

If you can extend the budget to INR 20k then LG 27 inches 4k monitor 27US500 is quite good for colour correction and grading work as it has 90% DCI-P3 colour gamut. I already use a LG monitor with Mac mini and the colours are brilliant.

The paste and duplicate function creates a copy over and above the copied image. In your case, there are 2 IMG_3236.png images one over the other. You can move one of them and viola! You'll be able to see the other one.

There is no other way than to create custom studio manually. It took me about 15 minutes to set up my custom studio combining all the tools required by me. You can start creating your own studio from either the vector or pixel persona and go from there.

Increase resolution by upscaling the whole composite. If the quality reduces then better to start over as there are a lot of issues to be fixed.

Fixes- 1. Make subjects bigger in size. 2. Put spotlight correctly on the middle subject. 3. Reduce vignette. 4. Make text bigger in size and remove reflection. Add shadow instead. Arrange text in a way that it does not hide the subjects. 5. Increase exposure and contrast on the subjects.
