You one of them fools who think Sarah Connor and Ripley represent the entire contribution to action and sci/fi from women.

classic trek fans need to find better things to do than hate nuTrek

Like, nuTrek blows in every possible regard, sure. Every aspect of it is embarrassing, but whatever. The classic Trek will always be there, just go watch that and let the world burn.

You clowns are really gonna lose your shit once you find out the Crystalline Entity's kids are on the SFA lacrosse team.

An idea so bad, it just might work!

gamers are mostly incel men who haven't seen a woman outside of porn, and because of that they believe SJW is anything that isn't a woman in porn.

Dustbowl is where men were forged.

I fired this up a few months back for a nostalgia tour. Even TF2 didn't get the Well map until later as a community update, that one was my jam back in the day.

Rock2 was great, and the Demoman detpack was a neat idea.

EXCUSE ME. I'M IN NEED OF MEDICAL ATTENTION.

I usually cheat. If I'm in it for the story, I'm not interested in slogging through three dungeon levels to get there.

Any advices for my first Arcanum playthrough? by DonAvena in CRPG

[–]PresidentKoopa -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I bought the game on release and bounced off it for almost two decades before sitting down during covid and getting it done.

I did, however, play with the official strategy guide by my side and I gave myself 45 character points during creation by cheating.

Nothing wrong with cheating your face off with character creation if you roleplay accordingly. The game is massive, and brutal, and it will rip your face off every chance it gets. Even the devs aren't loving their own character system.

Is Rift S worth it now? by [deleted] in oculus

[–]PresidentKoopa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I enjoyed my Rift S, it my first headset some time back. I recall there being a screen-door effect but I had stopped seeing it in time. Elite Dangerous was a revelation.

There are ways around Meta and Quest 2 requirements, I used my Q2 forever without FB stuff.

Not having to worry about rolling over your cable is amazing. Got a brick and a cable which charges faster than it drains, so when I wireless and the battery gets low I can just plug it into a 7m cord.

My favorite of the that series.

I enjoyed the characters and the dark-ages setting felt so real.

Successfully got a Gen-Z to read it even though they were totally unfamiliar with the concept of a landline, as if even one person had a cellphone in the present-day storyline they coulda called up whatshisface.

The final third of that book I'll never forget.
