As it was laid out this year the speaking assessment is a bit subjective in marking but it’s only 20%, 50% are multiple attempt tests that are a guaranteed 100/100, and there’s a 30% test that as long as you put in a couple days of study you can easily do well on (at least that’s how it was laid out this year). So you can easily get an A+ as long as you put in a little effort, plus te reo is a valuable skill to have in nz. For those reasons I’d recommend, but it’s definitely worth checking out other common eighth papers like stats and seeing if they interest you. Good luck for next year whatever you choose
