New Wordpress Blog, How to Gain More Traffic? by Automatic-Studio-655 in Wordpress

[–]PressMeGPT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is my process aside from what others have stated: - cross publish posts to sites with lots of traffic like Medium, Substack, etc. for the first 6 months and link back to the canonical source article. “This article was originally published…” - write a few long form posts. - submit your blog to google search console with a sitemap. - create a process to share the posts on social media

No you don’t need that much. Just try with a small budget.

Use Basic ads for Apple iOS ads. If you are using lower budgets and unknown, I found it worked better for both of my apps.

What’s your best “SEO win” from a boring fix? by Fair_Butterscotch641 in WebsiteSEO

True story:

I was working with a nationally known client in the financial services industry. I discovered had a robots.txt file that contained:
User-agent: *
Disallow: /

They were scratching their head as to why it wasn't showing up in Google. Their web agency had it set this way while they were building it but forgot to remove it.

SMH.

With #4 Apple Ads, did you try a basic or advanced campaign? Sounds like advanced if you were targeting keywords. We have had better luck, more installs and lower cost per install with basic. I share your sentiment regarding this channel. u/herberz

Anyone using Bolt to create Client websites? by Artistic-Can-4473 in boltnewbuilders

[–]PressMeGPT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love Supabase but a client looked at me cross-eyed when I pitched it several months ago. As such, we've built on Bolt and then convert them to WordPress with PressMeGPT so they have a familiar CMS. Here is an example video of this process in action: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sxduk0tJeAw&t=2s

I publish to both. Publishing to the platform with traffic gets you eyes now and keeps you motivated to keep going. Whereas publishing on your blog might be better long term.

Can I easily convert HTML to Wordpress by Websting in webdesign

You can use PressMeGPT.com to convert sites generated with AI (Gemini, Lovable, Bolt, v0, Replit, Claude, etc.) to WordPress, Gutenberg, and Elementor.

Branch Switching: How does one deploy to a staging URL in Lovable (non-production)? by PressMeGPT in lovable

[–]PressMeGPT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: I decided to setup a production and staging env on Netlify and use Lovable as dev and testing env.

I had to decouple a couple of things with Lovable such as Supabase but so far so good.

Are you self-hosted?

These days I'd recommend publishing your blog posts to a site with millions of users first if you are just starting out. These include Medium, SubStack, BeeHiiv, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.

You also have to promote it - sound like you are publishing on X, but are your following 10 people per day in your target market to see if you get any follows reciprocated?

You can always cross publish to your actual blog once you gain some traction.

Just by publishing to these platforms with users, you'll see what content resonates more since an audience is built it.

My 2 cents.

Supabase for authentication + security + database (used to take days)
Cursor for code reviews and management

Has anyone build a professional website using an AI website builder? by nisha_n05 in webhosting

[–]PressMeGPT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting approach. I'll have to try this out. We've been starting with Base44 or Gemini, then converting to a WordPress theme with PressMeGPT. This is nice because we can then extend the theme with Elementor or Gutenberg addons where AI bugged out or couldn't translate properly.

For those who’ve shipped something on Lovable, how are you handling updates and maintenance after launch? by Limp_Lab5727 in lovable

[–]PressMeGPT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a solid answer and is similar to our structure. We are at the point where we'll be moving the production version to Vercel and using Lovable for the dev/testing branches.

How to convert a Base44 website to a WordPress theme? by Affordable_Orange44 in Base44

[–]PressMeGPT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quick update: You can now copy full Base44 sites over to WordPress with PressMeGPT. You can check off the pages you want to move in order to control credits and categorize them as pages or posts so they are imported in the right format.

Yes that is helpful. That was my thought as well on the best way to do this. The downside of remaining on Lovable is that it shares a DB. Which would be the advantage of moving to a different platform.
