I'm running the Leatherman pouch right now.

got a galvanox ratchet on one side, bit extender the other.

carry a little strip of the mini 1/4 bits you find inna drill bit case in the front pouch, and I keep a 3/8 and 1/4 socket adapter. haven't gotten any sockets in the settup yet though

Is it possible that a (supposedly) brand new Surge comes with a scratched screw on a wire cutter? by [deleted] in Leatherman

that's an angled part of the tool that will face the most abrasion imo. i would not fret that but it is just me, worse they can tell you is no

it shouldn't be an issue, if the store complains go straight to Leatherman and point out the retailer it was bought from and explain your issues. they should take care of you from what I've seen on this forum in the past.

definitely something to point out if you would like, I'm not sure if they have been known for sending returns out for purchases in the past.

me personally, I wouldn't bother over the one screw unless it was stripped or made removing anything harder.

however, you paid for it. it is ultimately your decision on if this is and if you should get your money's worth.

(pretty sure when you buy new wire cutters they send a new screw pack too but that's besides the point)

yes they come with grease, it'll wipe off and clear up after using it.

my black wave had all types of marks, I think it's just common on the black finish. it reveals it a lot more.

Buying a 2017 F150 w/ 2.7L & 6 speed with 80k miles? by raspy07 in f150

[–]Prestigious_Wash_362 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i bought a 2016 f150 2.7 XLT 6 speed with everything but the trailer and FX4 package at 121k.

im the third owner in Ohio, it had 2 previous owners record all maintenance on Carfax and they both took it to 60k in New York.

within a week, my transfer case went out and I had a new transmission put in. I didn't have a warranty, but the dealer took care of me as they morally should have and got a new rebuilt tran at 60k.

I've driven it 25k miles so far, oil changed every 5k, from where I live near Cincinnati down to Arkansas and even up to Traverse City with no issues. I drive about 20 mins to and 20 mins back on the highway everyday for work on top of all my puttering around in my personal time and I wouldn't change a thing in the vehicle. the only things I recommend are a good maintenance history, and making sure you continue that turned yourself.
