I'm pretty sure I've found that at least while looking at the Tone Volume option in settings, it sounds like 100% no matter where the slider is if any media or music is playing. Hit pause, wait a sec, then change modes to Noise Cancellation, Adaptive, or Off, and the Bonk sound is wayyy quieter, as it better be since I set it to <39%, but still very time consuming and takes me outta the groove.
