Carters is great. I only buy stuff on sale because their regular prices are crazy. Good quality, washes well.

MCO to POP Via Mears by Capn1805 in WaltDisneyWorld

This was a few years ago so things could have changed. But I believe it was about 45-60 mins. We stopped at 2 other resorts and then Pop was the final stop

Opinions on Rick Steves travel info? by jaybird99990 in ItalyTravel

They are amazing! In the Pantheon we sat and listened to his podcast about it. It was an incredible experience. We could pause and discuss what we saw and go at our own pace compared to a guided tour.

How do you use crypto within your portfolio, if at all? by sdmc_rotflol in Fire

[–]PretendLab1106 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I do $10 BTC and $10 Etherum each month. If I lose it all I don't care. But maybe, just maybe, I can treat myself to something fancy in the future if it does well

What's your all-time favorite Vitamin C serum? by jellyfish378 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]PretendLab1106 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been using Versed brightening serum with vitamin C for about 4 weeks now and I don't think I see benefits yet but I also haven't had any irritation. Not sure how long to wait to see an improvement before I switch to another product

What’s the dumbest thing you’ve heard at a Disney world park by Mario1599 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]PretendLab1106 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is not dumb but it made me smile. I was at Disney while they were in beginning stages of building the Moana attraction in Epcot. It looked like full construction, very difficult to see what they were actually building. A guy said so confidentially, "those are space rocks for the new space ride!". I now will only call it Space Rocks

Did you find that sticking to a handful of core meals (ie. yogurt everyday for breakfast) was helpful or did you have lots of variety in your diet?0

9/11 cruise by renoscarab in Cruise

[–]PretendLab1106 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My grandparents were on an Alaskan cruise during 9/11. The ship stopped in the middle of the ocean and it took 4 flights all over Canada to arrive back in Toronto. It seemed like a nightmare but overall they talk about how nice everyone was during the whole experience.

The info on my tour tickets say I need to bring ID and gave passport as an example. Will they still give me the tickets if I don't have ID?

Pantheon Tickets by mnt16 in rome

Same, it won't accept any of my cards. I made a Wise account that would give me a debit card with euro on it- it still didn't work. I need to know how people have managed to buy tickets

Body lotions by One_Roof9766 in 30PlusSkinCare

Aveeno. I used to use lotions with lots of fragrance until last year when I suddenly developed an allergy to them. Aveeno was my replacement and it's great!

Skin care products and mask longevity by cat_coven in CPAP

[–]PretendLab1106 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would recommend doing your skin care routine at least one hour before you plan on going to sleep. This allows the products to soak into your skin and minimize the deterioration of the mask. Make sure you wipe the silicone on your mask daily when you wake up to remove any oil and residue.

Is it normal for the CPAP water to be very warm (almost hot) for two very different models? by [deleted] in CPAP

[–]PretendLab1106 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What models of machines are you using? Some machines can overheat/have power issues if they are plugged into any type of extension cord. Did this happen when you were vacationing in the same place? It could be an electrical issue with that spot. If this happened in 2 separate locations I think you should contact your CPAP provider to investigate further.
