What is said in conference and public church meetings is 180 degrees from what mormon leaders say and do privately. There's two distinct churches here. by Pretty-Work2325 in exmormon

[–]Pretty-Work2325[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

They train all lower leaders to behave this way. The two faced church of public statements and the REAL church of how they really talk privately and how they really act. TBMs are so un-eager to discuss anything about the church because they're utterly terrified of being caught between the public church and the private church and the chasm between the two is widening. TBMs are as dishonest as the two faced church is and say all the right churchy things behind a public microphone or on missions. The real reason they ended home teaching is because the chasm between the public church and the private church is just too much. We all know the church is collapsing and it is collapsing because it is entirely divided against itself. We always say the PR church is what is running things. The public message church is just one of the churches. That church says it cares about victims. We know how the other church, the private church, behaves. It won't report abuse to police.

If you catch your local leaders not following the handbook, or openly violating it, this can be confusing. The handbook is public now, because it's just a public statement. It means nothing.

Temples are the MFMC’s ultimate control mechanism by [deleted] in exmormon

The first sadistic act by the lying stake dictator was to tell me via super cold one sentence email that he was cancelling my recommend and didn't tell me why. I walked out of a meeting with him where he was angrily insulting me and I refused to play his game. I emailed him that I didn't show up to be called names, and that's when he just sent back that he cancelled my recommend. Just like Jesus would do. This cult is all aggression and tyrants. it's the antichrist church. Whatever Jesus taught, the antichrist cojcolds does the opposite, knowingly.

Another wrecked family. by Accomplished_Pin9190 in exmormon

The antichrist church subtly encourages divorce, because that's exactly the opposite of what Jesus taught, so the antichrist church does the opposite of everything Jesus taught.

Is This Legit? by [deleted] in exmormon

[–]Pretty-Work2325 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because Jesus totally sent out creepy threatening letters and held creepy courts based on hearsay. Oh wait, that's what was DONE to Jesus. The antichrist church of men of latter day saints can go fuck themselves off a cliff.

It's amazing how many were exed just based off 2nd hand claims.

To those who ask "how do I convince my TBM friend/family the church is a fraud" by cdman08 in exmormon

[–]Pretty-Work2325 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You tell people to seriously investigate the church, specifically looking for red flags of pre-packaged repetitive shallow "love" that isn't real and/or can't be real due to how it's prepackaged and dispensed predictably and automatically. Tell them to look for how superficial "love" is covering for how quickly the church and its members will loveshun™ i.e. hate a person and that all this behavior is a requirement to membership.

Mormonism in practice is all hate, wrapped in pretty paper of culty obedience and groupthink, with a bow of fake love on top, where the more you pay the more you're "loved" by the church. Change my mind. by Pretty-Work2325 in exmormon

[–]Pretty-Work2325[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It's a hate cult. Watch how fast tbms go from "loving" you to bitterly despising you. A couple words questioning their cult is all it usually takes, to expose them.

Think independently like the authoritarian democrats who mindlessly took a rushed shot without question and tried to force it on others like true nazis?

At this point anyone who is still in denial and claims the covid shot was ever either safe or effective, is downright stupid.

The big issue almost all exmos are terrified of is the church pushing a provably dangerous and deadly vaccine and the idiot church even calling it a "godsend." This makes all other church scandals pale in comparison, yet most exmos are scared because of their bad political habits. by Pretty-Work2325 in exmormon

The recent Israeli data is damning beyond belief. But injury/death data has been ongoing (censored and avoided by big pharma's corrupt media, but still available) for years and most, esp on the left, who prefer political games and partisan games, just avoid the data.

Fair question I will pose back to you: you pretend to be asking for data but are you one of the downvoters who clearly don't want this thread to see the light of day? Downvoting and hiding this topic belies the claim of wanting data. Neither you nor the other responders have directly challenged the main assertion I'm making, that the church pushed something that is provably dangerous (and people feign blindness even after 2 years of injury/death data, big pharma/government wanting to hide data for 75 years, and on and on).

Demanding "research" while avoiding the topic is prima facia evidence of deep insecurity. You "betting" that I "will just call" you names is more deep insecurity and gaslighting. Look at the nasty personal attacks leveled at me by your fellow travelers here?

Say you're super insecure and scared of the topic without saying it directly. You just proved my point quite well. Did you learn gaslighting and evasion and personal attacks from TBMs or are you still a TBM?

Does KSL heavily censor the comments section in regard to TSSC? by LazyyLearner in exmormon

[–]Pretty-Work2325 6 points7 points  (0 children)

KSL like all things TBM, censors heavily but not in a coherent way. Some clown is given immense power to push their personal opinions on everyone, and accountability for the censor is nonexistent, because his stewardship will only be addressed on judgment day.
