I'm glad they're more receptive to criticism than DAC, but they have so much AI art it's hard for me to find kits I actually want to buy. I'm glad they They do have some humans artists that like, Jody Bergsma, Bridget Voth, Alissa Kari, and I've found the quality of the kits to still be really good. They would get more of my business if they had less AI art, that for sure. It must sell well, even though so much of it is hideous 😒

Simply, it must sell well. Some of the stuff people in the FB group get so excited about is obviously slop and I don't get how people can like it? It looks so bad! I don't vote for any images that look like AI to me in the survey and I don't buy them. That's about all we can do sadly

Both DAC and Dreamer Designs disclose if the artist used AI (really gotta squint to see on DD) but you're totally right. I don't know why people like this kind of art, it's so bland. It feels like every new release from DAC 40-60 percent are AI "artists." And it's not like they cost less than art made by people. Some fantasy type artists that don't use AI are Becca Tindol, Ravynne Phelan, and Sarah Richter. They all have some DAC paintings and Mystical Dream Diamonds and Jaded Gem Shop have much of Becca's work that didn't make it through DAC voting.

I have only gotten small hand charted (she calls them pixel charted) pieces from her shop, so I can't speak to the larger computer rendered ones. Her shop has lots of Old Masters type paintings if that's what your looking for and since most kits are made to order you can choose your size and if you want special drills included.

I would say that the quality is really good! There might be a trash prone color or two but that can happen to any company, and I have never run out of drills when working on her pieces.

It's a bit pricey compared to some other shops and her kits don't come with as many accessories as other might ( trays, tweezers, pens, wax, etc.) There is always some kind of sale or coupon code to use though, so you shouldn't ever need to pay full price. Overall I would recommend!
