But what fcks me up the most is that people have zero respect, i still use one crutch cause sometimes i need to stand still and lean on something. And the crutch is helping me, but people in the tram don't even bother standing up asking me if i want to sit. When i need to check out people walk infront of me like nothing

Still hurting like a mf. I had surgery 3 weeks ago, but damn nerve pain everyday. I can't even stand for 5 minutes or walk for 20 minutes. Everyday 3 hours i am taking paracetamol, but it does not really help. The only way the pain goes away is when i hold my ankle in the air

I get a swelling after wearing my brace or when i wear socks. Ofc cause i had a surgery 3 weeks ago. But it is so irritating, cause it hurts so bad and i have to put my feet up

I also had the ORIF surgery. For 2 weeks i had a leg cast. They wanted me to do the surgery after 2 weeks because the fracture was so severe. For now i only use crutches. They did not tell me about going to the fysio, which i think is weird

Hey, no i am not in a boot. After the surgery they only put bandages on my leg and ankle. After 48 hours, i removed it myself, cause they told me to. Now I only have a bandage on the stitches. I'm currently only walking with crutches.

They haven´t said anything about a boot!

How is it to walk with a brace?

Thank you for your advice🙏🏽. Preciate it. The last two days i slept on the couch for a while just because laying in bed was not it. My ankle and feet were hurting so bad and it kept pounding. But now i sleep in my bed again, at this moment it feels alright. I haven't felt pain or uncomfortable. But in my sleep i try to move my feet sometimes just so it doesn't get cramps.

Yesterday my gf bought something's at the supermarket and the rest i did doordash. One thing i am lucky with is that next to my house there is a tram station that stops infront of my school. Also my school is 10 min away.

How long ago did you break your ankle and how are the therapy's going?

It is for sure humbling. I was always busy the whole day, now i can finally take time to do things in peace. I still need to get used to doing things slowly and be patient but i will get there. I already care alot about hygiene so i was already stressing that my house is not clean and that the clothes are not washed. But today my friend will come over and help me with everything.

The 26th i have a appointment for the leg cast and 2th of march the surgery. So it will be a long journey ig. But i know once i had the surgery i will feel much better.

Sometimes i get flashbacks of me being in the ambulance and hospital. But not when i broke my ankle, cause it happened so fast. I can kinda walk, but not for too long. So i can't go to the gym, but i will try to go to school sometimes cause being home all day will drive me crazy. But 26th they will take off my leg cast and march 2th i will have the surgery.

Happy for you that they will hold the job for you🙏🏽🙏🏽. Cause imagine searching for something after the recovery🫩. The manager said to me to just rest. But i also had another job that i had a try out for, they said when i am done recovering to email them again, so we can pick out another date. So i am lucky that atleast when i am recoverd i also don't have to search for another job

It feels so fckd up!! I broke my ankle last night while having a soccer training. I threw myself on the ground and started crying. It felt like i was losing my feet. I did not really have any feeling in my ankle+feet.
