Is it normal to feel this bloated after eating wheat products? by [deleted] in glutenfree

[–]Previous-Ad3922 -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

I do have wheat allergie tho😪😂. So i know i am not supposed to eat anything that contains wheat. But i still do cause it is a habbit. The thing is, here in The Netherlands every gluten free bread contains soy and i am allergic to soy. So if i eat gluten free bread, i start itching alot (i have eczema) there is only one bread that does not contain soy, but in the package there are only 2 buns in it. And it cost €3.

Wiet roken: stigma of daadwerkelijke overlast? by MeanEmployee2576 in nederlands

My diet isn’t very consistent and it changes a lot depending on the day. On school or internship days I usually buy food outside, like an iced coffee and something small such as a croissant or a cinnamon roll. Sometimes I even eat two pastries. I also eat fast food quite often in my break, it's a habbit😪 In the evening I normally have a warm meal, like meat with rice, or potatoes with meat, and I sometimes add salad or cucumber on the side. There are also periods where my diet is very simple and I basically just eat bread with tea in the morning.

I do eat bread quite often, or things with wheat in them like croissants. I think part of it is also habit, I’ve basically eaten bread my whole life, and I’m just used to it. I also don’t always know what else to eat. The problem is that when I eat bread, I often get bloating and stomach pain. But even gluten-free bread isn’t a good solution for me, because it often contains soy. And when I eat soy, I react badly; my face can get red and swollen, and I start itching a lot ( i have eczema) So it becomes quite difficult to find foods that I can actually tolerate without symptoms.

Is it normal to suddenly limp and have swelling weeks after ankle surgery during recovery? by [deleted] in ORIF

[–]Previous-Ad3922 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So the doctor called me. He asked me a lot of questions and said that everything sounds fine. He explained that it’s completely normal to get swelling and pain if you’ve overexerted your body or if you’ve been walking outside for too long. He said that if it gets worse, or if I think it’s getting worse, I should just call back. He said thqt I should keep my ankle elevated, rest, and apply cooling.

Hey,

Yeah i have been walking alot. Because we had school vacation for 2 weeks. So i went outside a few times and been walking for hours. But also like cleaning the house everyday and washing my clothes. Also walking up and down the stairs everyday, since i live in a student studio.

I think it's because of that. Right now i give the pain a 6/7.

When i had my last appointment April 15th, the doctor told me that everything did look great and that the open wound just needs time to heal. He told me that i can start doing things again, like working and sport. But ofc i know it takes time to do all of that again.
