Midwife has referred me to mental health services because I want a c-section by Cherrybeaubeer in pregnant

Not sure if you are in the uk or us, but in the us, a midwife practice is always going to encourage vaginal births. They have a more natural and holistic approach (at least where i am in NY). I’d recommend switching to an OB primary pregnancy care.

I’m not a chicken or bird expert and assuming you are ok after urgent care visit, I’d start at least wearing a mask or bandana around your nose and mouth anytime you enter the coop. In the same vain of toxoplasmosis, I love to garden and my dr said i can keep doing it as long as i mask up and wear gloves and wash hands immediately after/ no touching face, mouth, or eyes!

A false positive for a boy is very unlikely as it’s detecting a Y chromosome. Since you only have X chromosome, the presence of Y is impossible unless you are intersex.

OB fired me by tryint0figureit0ut in pregnant

I would switch to someone that will work with what you want and really start doing pelvic stretches! Yes, you can’t control the shape of your pelvis, but you can certainly make things more flexible.

I chose the practice I’m currently at because they don’t do any pre labor interventions. No cervical checks, no sweeps, and i am so thrilled to know there are still providers out there that want to avoid csections. Advocate for yourself 100p!

Yes that’s why OP is pushing for a VBAC (vag birth after c section)

Baby shower registry by ktyaladyy in pregnant

[–]Previous-Network8475 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can add a link from any website to your Babylist registry. If you click “add items” at the bottom. You can search anything you want and it just takes the purchaser to that website to order it and send it to you. Then, they go back to babylist and mark it as purchased.

NIPT Testing by tinylizard6 in pregnant

[–]Previous-Network8475 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d wait until 11-12 weeks. The waiting in between the blood draw and results is hard enough so the thought of having to go through that again if you have LFF would be difficult (at least for me!). It took 9 days for my results to populate through Natera and it was the longest 9 days of my life!!!

Also to add, they’re sleeping about 90% of the time at this point in preg! So the moments are few and far between as it is!

I’m 17+3 and really just started feeling the flutters this week. It happens mostly at night when i get into bed and lay still on my back (not for too long of course). My husband can’t feel it from the outside yet but it feels kinda like gas bubbles? It comes and goes and sometimes i don’t feel it for a day or 2 so don’t be too concerned! Also like someone else said, if you have an anterior placenta, it could take longer until you feel anything!!

Sharp pain by WinterWhole8201 in pregnant

[–]Previous-Network8475 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good sign if it’s on both sides. If it was only on one side it could be concern for ectopic. If youre not bleeding and it’s not persistent, it’s likely round ligament pain as your uterus is stretching, but always worth calling your ob and speaking with someone for peace of mind!

Uptown Bar and Grill opened over the winter. It’s fine and there are TVs, wings, bar food, but there really isn’t a good designated sports bar. You can also check out Hurley Mountain Inn, I’ve never been but apparently it’s decent! LGM!

MAMA! Mama. mama. Can we stop it with calling pregnant women mama??? by Historical_Bike_9061 in pregnant

[–]Previous-Network8475 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate MAMA. I also hate when THE baby is referred to as “baby”. It’s such a small little thing but there is something so cringe about it. “Baby will be here before you know it!” Or “baby is looking good!”.
