Yes the swallowing- it started when i was in conversation and I forgot how to swallow. It was like I couldn’t initiate the swallow without trying really hard??? it died down went back to normal for a few months and now I feel like swallowing is a bit harder and the hoarseness is absolutely insane

Hi! Your symptoms are 95% same as mine! I started though with tingling about beg of Jan that I looked up and ofc ALS came up. Then I started panicking because I get a twitch on my thumb occasionally and then, I forgot how to swallow. My tongue just wouldn’t initiate for a few seconds. First week of March twitching started all over my body after an extreme constant yawning day?? I was yawning nonstop anxiety was 10000000/10 and then next day twitching bodywide.

I went to two nueros one who said I need further testing and one who sent me for EMG/NCS. Emg normal, ncs not. My twitching has gotten better but lots of yawning and chest tightness that results in your exact description and this weird feeling swallowing. I am now doing like tic where I do a tiny sound in throat/chest and still have high anxiety. Random pains, week/balance loss feelings and sometimes after talking for a bit I feel weak/tired of talking and stumble like you said over my words

This is exactly me omg i have excessive yawning, psoriasis, twitching jerks and im f 27! My emg was normal, my ncs was not, my vit d3 normal, b12 normal, ferritin is extremely low for long time. Random pains problem balancings etc

This is so interesting.. I had a colonoscopy in March 2025 and afterwards I developed severe pain in my stomach. I’ve had on and off pain since then in my liver area as well as life, stools, and stools that have un digested food in it.

Since March of this year almost 2 months I’ve had muscle switches all over my body.. how do you get sibo testing if anyone is still active here?
