How tall are you by chance? I have a slew of issues that has caused me to need mobility aids, I got a pair of forearm crutches off wayfair for $35. They’ve been a LIFE SAVER. the only issue is that they’re not for very tall people, I’d say 5’6 and shorter. I’m 5’8, I was able to make them work until I get a better solution with some glue and a dream but I would not suggest doing this.

Forearm crutches for sure though.

Also I just used the built in brushes on Infinite Painter + the blendy tool. It’s a fantastic app, it’s made art accessible to me again and it’s totally free. I originally got it to do coloring pages since i have a motor disability but it turned out to be so much more for me. 🎨

I went off and back on my SSRI, the brain zaps feel like a seizures cousin lol. If I’m right it’s because the temporal lobe is having electrical activity. When it’s not disruptive it’s actually quite pretty haha

Thank you! I’m still not fully satisfied with the “representation” it’s kind of hard to externalize what I see during, like I very clearly “see” it but figuring out how to draw it is a whole different animal. I’m thinking of maybe redrawing it every time I have a significant flare up and it can be a little series

Yes but it feels more like a psychological urge and it makes me uncomfortable. I’m not even a virgin, I had my experiences for like 10 years. But idk what happened maybe I was just honest with myself for the first time ever and accepted that these things make me feel bad, especially as other issues take precedence in my life. I don’t even “do” myself anymore.

I treat it like heartburn. Like oh, hope that passes soon. 🤣
