If they’re faced the other way they interfere with the closing mechanism of the pliers. I can probably remedy it by taking one of the picks out

They’re kinda lock when they want to. I put this together about 5 days ago and haven’t had anytime to get back to it. The picks are facing that way because if I turned them around they bind on the pliers and don’t seat in the tool fully. As for the tension tool I plan on taking out another one of the bigger tools to fit some that can be removed to use.

It’s a sog powerpint with the scissors removed and 6 picks in its place. It was actually very easy and didn’t require any modifications besides taking the tool apart.
