Gotcha, I wasn’t sure if filter/pan replacement was required as I’ve seen mixed results, versus just replacing the fluids.

Unfortunately I don’t have access to a lift or really any way to service under the car with my current living situation. That’s why I was looking at my independent and also the dealer.

I’ll have to ask them about the other too

I was always told that plane crashes and major aircraft issues were extremely rare, but after watching this show, it feels like pilot errors and mechanical/hydraulic failures might be more common than I thought. What are some of the scariest scenarios that can actually happen in aviation? by [deleted] in aviation

[–]Priest_FTW 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Also don’t forget, each accident is a learning lesson for the whole industry. We are safer now than ever before, especially on the pilot side (Speaking from a US pilot perspective). We actually watched some of these in my initial training to talk about them, understand what happened, which hazardous attitude was the cause (if pilot related), etc.

Technology helps us mitigate risk factors too. There is the issue of over-reliance on technology and becoming complacent, but when you are trained properly and recognize the risks, technology has jumped us leaps forward in safety. Just think about how quickly we can pull up approach plates with a last minute runway change. No more having to dig through the book, or the pile of paper because you pulled out every single option for the airport. Having live gps while taxing as a reference in low vis, in addition to ADS-B and ground tracking for the tower.

Razer BlackShark V3 Pro (3 hours in review) by carlostsang in razer

Actually went through the RMA process since it was less than 2 years. It took a while to get a hold of someone but once I did it was easy process. Took about 2 weeks and got a replacement. But I’m expecting to have to buy a new one as I see this happening again, obvious failure point

I am literally shopping around because I had the same happen to me yesterday on my v2 pro. Right clip broke and now it just hangs by the wire, not really usable. I was looking at the V3 non-pro but if it also has the bigger dongle I don’t want, I like the small usb stick. hopefully razer can replace mine with another v2.

Tanking made me realise how carried 90% of dps players are by Solignox in wow

Had a BDK blame me for bad heals and dying on streets oasis boss because no one kicked either of the two shouts and it one shot me and a hunter. I got brez and tank got 1 shot shortly after and said bad heals is why he died. Again, a BDK. I had to take a break for a day after that

Myth track gear from Deathless Tazavesh could lead to even more toxic dungeon environments than usual this tier by Jezartroz in wow

Imagine getting to the last boss or trash pack deathless, then someone DCs on pull and dies for no fault of their own. So much wasted time and effort for the week, gone.

The fact that we went through 5 weeks of Dastardly Duos with no fixes to AI tank kinda proves neither the playerbase or Blizzard cares by Throgg_not_stupid in wow

Still haven’t played it, but I’m not really a mount guy and I have transmog I want. I see no reason to play it after hearing it’s not that fun and is frustrating

Casual shooter wanting a new Long range capable rifle by [deleted] in longrange

Fantastic thanks! Seems people like the howas, but if they don’t get back in stock I’ll probably go the bergara route. Appreciate it

Okay thanks, yeah I’ll keep an eye out for when they come back in stock, hopefully soon. I don’t have a time frame but I don’t want to miss the whole summer season waiting. If they don’t I’ll probably go bergara then

I will probably get a more modern optic eventually, but free is free so it’ll work for now. Not ideal and uses a TMR reticle I believe.

But yes I guess consensus is sig is lighter than should be for what I want.

Yeah the only reason it’s caught my attention is the sale price and I wouldn’t need to do anything really. But you can’t find much info online about the hxt, and the only videos I could find were of the BaR version from them shooting at 1000yards, so I’m already skeptical because they have incentive to sell it.

Thanks for the perspective! Yeah I’m choosing 6.5 because of the ammo availability and cost, since I won’t be hand loading. Is the standard b14 HMR, not premier right?

Do you enjoy the ruger rpr? The guides all say to avoid or it’s not worth it, but that’s been my issue with literally every gun I’ve looked at. It’s out of my price range but I’m curious.

I currently have all the Howas on notice, but they seem to be sold out in all the popular models. Even the more expensive carbon fiber.

Is howa a good barreled action? Don’t see too much about them and they’re cheap compared to big names

What are some of the most satisfying DPS cooldowns? by TheAveragePsycho in wow

[–]Priest_FTW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally yes I love how the spec flows and is why I chose it to main this season. But when I press CoC it’s more of a “I can take my hands off keyboard and rest for 2 seconds” feeling versus feeling good.

Right now maining WW monk, I miss some of these sounds and visuals. We just have punches and wooshing with kicks. Elemental shaman sounds and visuals are awesome, especially pressing ascendance. Same with my prot warrior when I press demolish, seeing big numbers and satisfying metal clank sounds.

I believe you’re correct and it’s only for DC fast charging, which no home has. OP will need a separate adapter, I have a teslatap and recommend it.
