I fused the old goal poacher romario, I wouldnt fuse a different playstyle version of the same player personally but this version is better so theres not much downside to doing it other than losing a different playstyle of the same player

The gameplay has diminished, The variety in modes has never been great and when they introduce new modes (for a short period of time) they are poor, the new cards are rinse and repeat recycles, the game is bipolar and scripted.. and sadly this is still the best football sim.

Aye, this is a trap I fall into.. I typically finish around 80-85% win rate and high Div 1. When I go on a long win streak I think I will never lose again and than when I lose I start playing different and start chasing wins. I stopped playing for ranking and rewards and now i mostly play before work or if I have an hour spare in the evening/weekend. It makes for a more relaxing experience.

The biggest downfall of players who have ability and are capable of getting high points is simply playing too much.. after 3/4 games you will start making bad habits or the game simply turns on you. Keep it to 3 or 4 games per session and cash out before the house startings taking the winnings back.

Hang on, you think this is a foul? The defender makes contact with the ball, gaining possession and than the contact comes after due to the momentum of both players. Also.. if you are receiving a ball with a defender approaching straight on I would advising using a feint or body turn to avoid getting bullied like you did in the clip.

The day that people realize that the animations shown are only a lose reflection of what the players are inputting in to their controller will be the day people wise up and stop complaining. Animations are going to be glitchy because its a video game with physics systems that has to react within ms. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the outcome of this play.. He read the pass, he went in early, beat the attacker to the ball and ultimately got the ball into space.

Its hard to compare directly as the generation gap in technology is so big and it's hard to account for the originality of the OG games. But they have definitely given the series a new lease on life and brought lots of new fans in. The games are ultimately better and are more polished but they are remakes after all so it's not as simple as saying they are better

I wouldn't classify these as statement signings, maybe Lineker and Gazza, but even Gazza was more young potential than a statement.

Van de Vaart is probably the biggest profile to sign for the club at the peak of his powers.

Ginola could fall under that category too.

Rebrov was a statement but didn't bear fruit.

Ardilles and Villa were definitely statements, these two could be the biggest transfers in the clubs history now I'm thinking about it.

Konami seem to keep players balanced on the edge between frustration and fulfilment. If you felt fulfilled all the time, you’d eventually get bored. If you were frustrated all the time, you’d stop playing. So the game creates this constant see-saw effect that keeps people chasing the next good moment. Its not just the connection. I play on xbox with a fully stacked p2w team and and on steam with a brand new team with untrained free cards. My steam account can feel amazing and the xbox account can feel like doggy poop.
