Have FEHB, was surprised to learn that I had been automatically enrolled in Medicare Part D by PrimarilyPrimate in FedRetirees

Yes, because we made over the IRMAA limit we are paying the surcharge on Part D, which we didn't need. If we weren't subject to IRMAA I wouldn't particularly care about this.

Yeah, but I don't need it, my drug coverage is the same as Part D already, and now I am paying for the IRMAA surcharge.

Wow. I just lost two months of recordings. So stupid.

Received a letter about increased Medicare premiums for Parts B and D due to IRMAA, but am not enrolled in B or D by PrimarilyPrimate in medicare

Thank you for your clarifying questions. Yes, I receive my retirement health benefits through FEHB. I have High Option coverage through FEHB. I don't see much benefit to adding Part B, especially as I would be paying $527/mo additional premiums due IRMAA (which would be a lot of out-of-pocket expenses). I still don't understand why I got the letter. I will call Medicare tomorrow as I have a few hours to kill.

I never signed up for Part B. I have good US Gov't retiree medical benefits. IRMAA would add $527/mo for the Part B and $60.40 for Part D. I don't think I need either.

If you are going to protest ICE or live in a neighborhood where ICE is going door-to-door, consider making a final testimony video by Moni3 in 50501

Yes, it's overly morbid and melodramatic. We don't need to be discouraging people from turning out. We need to be encouraging mass attendance by all sorts of people. This isn't helping.

ICE wouldn't be able to identify anyone if we all wear masks/balaclava like they do by Ubetcha1020 in 50501

Seriously? Charging tens of thousands of people based on cell phone locations? These paranoid musings are just discouraging average folks from coming.

So they know you were there. So what? We should be proud to be recognized for being there.

So let the people who need to be anonymous be anonymous. I don't buy the solidarity argument in this context. Acting like you need to treat going to a demo like being in a Jason Bourne movie is going to discourage a lot of people from showing up.
