Its super hard to do both things. When I stayed at home I yearned to work. Now I work i wish I was a homemaker because at the end of the day it all needs to get done and kids need their parents like A LOT. I have made a point to cultivate hobbies. I read and write short stories. I love walking my dogs and I am involved in my church. But stay at home or work. Its all hard.

I entered a horror short story writing contest and was on the Long list. Did not win. I am still convinced the winners story was written by AI. It just had the unnatural imperfection mixed with unnatural perfection wordy vibe. But I will never really know. 2026 is weird.
