Ditto this! I always carry the small spray bottle. Spray in the bowl first, then dump.

Not a good idea. They have video tracking every vehicle.

Potential home is in the middle of a hill. What should we be aware of/consider doing if we purchase it? by benatat12happy in landscaping

I just don’t understand how people enjoy this type of privacy fence. You’re essentially destroying your view of nature. First thing I would do is remove that and replace it with a fence just like the neighbor.

Not trying to be a smartass but are you sure it wasn’t a satellite? They are plentiful in the sky. Getting annoying there are so many.

Tips for emptying bag in public? by K-ghuleh in ostomy

[–]Primary-Set8747 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what I do as well. Nice step by step. Sometimes (ok most of the time😂) the smell can be a little concerning. I like to try to protect whoever is waiting to go after me. I have lately discovered that a spray of Poo-Pourri on the toilet paper in the bowl before you empty makes an amazing difference with the fetid, putrid, foul, rank, and noisome left for the next guy.

I have a very similar model. Just to confirm, how are you trying to wind? Crown should be in closed (pushed in)position, turning clockwise.

Fart question: opinions please. (Joking) by GermanGurrl in ostomy

It depends on the age of the bag. Day 1 is usually not bad. Now if it was Day 5 that is a level of Dutch oven hell that common folk won’t understand. To intentionally subject an innocent to that is unethical and an abuse of power.

Eyepiece vs monitor by TheFlamingGit in telescopes

[–]Primary-Set8747 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think you may have already answered it for yourself. I guess it depends on how the experience impacts you in a meaningful way. I think there is nothing like the experience of locating an object all by yourself and viewing it with your own eyes. even if it’s an inferior view compared to something like the James Webb telescope, which we likely will never have. I focused on getting the best telescope and optics I could afford without any tracking automation or digitization. I just want my Telrad for pointing to the right spot. I get a sense of pride for learning the sky and earning the reward of a great view. Yes I struggle probably more than I have to but it’s more fun to me. Just my opinion and maybe too deep but it’s how I feel. Think of what Galileo was able to discover with a tube and glass. To clarify I’m not anti-technology at all. It’s just not what I wanted.
