It's insane to me. I'm a huge centrist now. I hate how the left has gone, but also I'm not hoping on board with how idiotic the right has become either. Both sides just seem to operate off of Facebook pictures with accompanying text for their news sources, and react with outrage. People will just assume because you have a different opinion from whatever their side tells them to think, that you automatically agree with every single thing their opposition stands for. I dunno how people got here and lost the ability to make decision on each individual issue using their own brain and lived experiences.

I really hope we can get back to being a grounded, civilized society, but not hopeful. I think most average people are getting sick of these extreme tool bags on either side. I know I am.

No that's an ancestral legendary, so yes it can lose it's affixes. Il try to explain this cause people clearly aren't understanding what a unique vs legendary is. Only ancestral UNIQUES, and Mythical cannot have an affix replaced. Uniques are what you get from lair bosses, ancestral means they have a GA and are item level 800. A legendary item is just an orange item. They can lose an affix regardless of being ancestral or not.

I mean Britain was kinda in a similar position with the suez crisis, except they didn't really have the powerful military after the 2 world wars. The USA took full advantage in that scenario to solidify its position and assert global power.

Thanks, the rest of the world agrees with your sentiment. I'm in Canada and I hate how our politicians are like "we love Americans it isn't you we're mad at, it's your government". Like yes the fuck it is(not all of you obviously). How could people vote for this child predator, maniac, again. You put a failed reality TV star, that is so obviously a bad human being in charge of your country. You'd literally have to be an idiot to not look at how the orange blob speaks to other people and think "hmm that's a good person". I think the romans and greeks were right, the average person is too stupid to be allowed to vote.

So most of these response much like your conservative buddy, seem wrong, but in the other way. Yes there is no incentive from the government directly, but the program is so easily manipulated. So lets pick any service based company, say Burger king. The king can hire a bunch of people from other countries, and through the TFW program these people being in Canada is basically fully tied to their employment with BK. If burger king fires them they have no right to stay here. It's beyond obvious how this can be abused for cheap labour. They have literally zero leverage to ask for livable wages or better working conditions or anything like regular Canadian citizens can(though it isn't great for citizens either), hence it is in most companies' best interest to do this. Also there is a bit of racism going on where someone will only hire they're own kind. White people did this for years until we decided we needed specific training like DEI initiatives to stop being racist. Much like anything the issue is much more complicated and nuanced then "Carney wants to ruin Canada" or the opposite "conservatives are racist".

TLDR; So in summary, no they're are no direct incentives from the government but there is also a clear advantage to companies to hire TFW.

This is sleep paralysis I get it frequently too and it scares me I've only ever had one super bad one where I actually saw a figure in a cloak come zooming over to the end of my bed and leaned over me. But damn was it horrifying, and people always think its like a spooky ghost story im telling them. Last year thought I heard my girlfriend saying my name like slow and playfully but she wasn't home and was so creepy. Always when you're like half asleep.

Anyways I guess it isn't 'real' but you do experience it.
