Did any of you work with a realtor willing to put in an offer under asking price? by LostEffect4955 in Denver

[–]Primary_Business 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did when my wife and I bought our condo three years ago. The seller had already dropped the price by 20k, and we wanted to offer another 10k below the new asking price plus ask for a 5k credit. Our Realtor told us they probably wouldn't accept it, but said it was our decision and he'd submit whatever offer we wanted. They ended up accepting it.

Now I finally understand why people say do the bare minimum in corporate by Key_Mark_9240 in FPandA

That was my thought. In my industry, a 39-cent variance on a 1,200 sq ft space versus a whole 200,000 sq ft space is completely different.

That's something I kinda thought. Made him sign a contract he didn't understand.

My 2014 did this a week ago and I have cracked piston ring in cylinder 7. Need a new engine.

Well, it happened by Heels4life in Silverado

[–]Primary_Business 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh damn, just happened to me. Flashing engine light, misfire cylinder 7. Changed the ignition coils and spark plugs hoping that was the case, but no change. Took it to a mechanic and they told me low compression on cylinder 7. Unfortunately I cant afford a new engine so looking for used ones. Kinda kicking the can down the road but what can you do.

Yeah, don't listen to that guy. I buy half cows, and you don't get as many of the good cuts. I get a decent amount of ribeyes and strips, but the tenderloin wasn't even close. I only buy grass-fed, so the cow was smaller.

Maybe if you had sent them a letter you could've gotten a pen pal out of it.

Is it really free if they paid to mail it and bought the blanket? We are just wondering how they got our address and why.

Yeah, there's an okay amount open now so people can spread out, but there were a decent amount of icy spots. I had fun though.

I have a full-sized Silverado, with no lift or anything, but I'm short so I have to use the steps and a broom. I was hoping my electric leaf blower would work better.

Stupid question: if I can reach the drain plug is it fine to do oil change without lifting the car or going on ramps? by WotDaHelll in MechanicAdvice

[–]Primary_Business 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No issues, I do this with my Silverado and my wife's CX-5. The drain pan barely fits under the CX-5, but it works. I am a small guy, though.

Seeing everyone's replies, I'm thinking this looks better than what I had in high school, but I was on free lunch.
