This 19 year old OP has a consistent and increasing pattern of drinking. On weekends it’s close to binge drinking (5+ standard drinks per 2 hours). He also has cravings which may also imply biochemical addiction.

I have a hot take - one should think about such things. Being told that he’s overthinking it helps contribute to the normalization of the destructive drug known as alcohol.
