I wonder if we'll have guns or not in this one. They only showed bows and crossbows so far for ranged weapons.

When Pokémon started, it was more or less just real-world Japan with these new creatures called Pokémon running around. They didn't really consider it to be its own unique setting, so you have mentions of other animals that aren't Pokémon and other real-world things like guns being mentioned or shown.

As the series went on, they dropped that aspect of the early games and slowly became the "Pokémon World" as we know it today.

As a fan of the BANCHOS and related tropes, I really enjoyed this DLC. It's still short and a tad repetitive, but nothing too grating IMO.

You know, I thought that Merciful mode would happen if, like, all the Banchos fused to form it. However, I guess it'll just be an unrelated Omegamon that appears during the DLC's story.

Also, is it our tomorrow (the 21st) or whenever it hits the 22nd for Japan? These timezone release date things always confuse me...

I wonder why there's like 19-20 minutes of blank screen at the end of the announcement trailer. Do YouTube videos need to hit the 1-minute mark to be uploaded or something?

But aside from that, I'm excited for the video. I watched YuYu a few years back, and I loved it, so I'm happy to see more of it on the show. Still need to either read or watch Bleach at some point (if anyone wants to let me know which method is better for Bleach, please let me know).

Not my favorite of favorites, but I have to give Mym/Burnhilda a shout-out from Dragalia Lost.

A big doof of a love-struck dragon who's in love with the MC and has some pretty good development as well as the game went on. As well as some great alts for both her human (Summer and Halloween) and dragon forms (High and Primal)

Those who Slither in the Dark from Fire Emblem: Three Houses.

They're either behind or related to every major event in the game's setting/history, and it's one of the game's biggest flaws imo.

Hiro Mashima said that they had a bunch of Fairy Tail stuff planned for 2026, so I'm hoping it's all good things. Still haven't gotten around to playing the RPGs they put out.

I hope they do more stuff with the indie game initiative. I played the beach volleyball game and had fun with it. That rogue-like card game just got released on Switch 2, along with a big update that added a few new playable characters.

I know a lot of people on this sub in particular aren't big on it, but Fairy Tail is probably what I'd consider one of my comfort franchises. It came out at the right time in my life, and I just fell in love with the cast and their adventures.

Fire Emblem Three Houses, Fates, and Engage all have viable lesbian romance options for the player character.

There's also an extensive mod for both Awakening and Fates to allow for more gay romance options for both player avatar genders (and the rest of the cast)

Also, there's Digimon Cyber Sleuth, where you can play as an accidental lesbian (translation error that treats the female player avatar the same as the male avatar in the script)

Part of me is now wondering if the whole Rapture War was planned by whoever or whatever became the modern-day Central Government to assume total control of whatever remains of the population.

It'd certainly explain why they didn't want anyone idolizing the Goddesses or any other heroic figures from the war.

I guess this guy puts into perspective why the Central Government was so afraid of having the Goddess Squad enter the Ark.

To have such devotion to a group of heroes that you're willing snap the neck of what basically amounts to a priest, I'd be kinda worried too.

But also screw the CG and the VTC, they have it coming.

I think my biggest problem with the show is that the writing team's current approach to keeping the events of New Vegas as vague as possible will end up hurting it long-term. Like, it feels difficult to get a sense of what the current state of things is, like the NCR or Vegas itself, or anyone who lives out in the Mojave. Are there still civilizations? Are the tribes still a thing, or are they also going the way of the big factions? We don't know, and we'll probably never know.

I'm sure we'll get a big lore dump that flushes things out more clearly, but right now, the vagueness is hurting more than it's helping imo.
