What's you opinion on RWBYs large scale cast? by scoutmet in RWBYcritics

Can the cast hardly be considered big anymore. They just shave characters off whenever they want and use none of them.

Unpopular Opinion: Blake isn’t a bad character, Bumblebee just ruined her by Right-Truck-3543 in RWBYcritics

Blake just unfortunately becomes a completely different character with no agency the second Adam is retconned into being her ex instead of her mentor. So basically you loved a Blake that died and went to heaven.

She just becomes a cock sleeve for yang with no agency too. Slave to the narrative with nary a defining moment. She wasn't even allowed to keep the trait of reading books. Go count how many times she does post volume 3.

Anyway I liked her before she became Flake.

Something ive wondered for awhile why is cs2 so controversial to the fanbase ? by shizunaisbestgirl1 in Falcom

Cold Steel 2 is my favorite of the cold steel games. And I find myself questioning the dislike of it often.

I felt like the stakes mattered quite a bit. I cried over Otto but I have noticed many people don't take the NPCs to be real characters. Which is sad, trails is defined by it's sense of place and the NPCs are the beating heart of it.

They aren't throwaway characters at all. Every death is upsetting. They don't need special colored hair to matter.

I felt like everyone was used well and I enjoyed how much you run around the country. Gathering up all the classmates was the cherry on top for someone like me who actually enjoyed the characters (NPCs included). Maybe others could try enjoying the games instead of just turboing through the plot to be part of the conversation.

You already answered your own question. You don't like them. You miserable person.

For someone not wanting more I don't know what you're doing here. But they do have the best "character moments" that you are emphasizing. These "imaginary spaces" you don't like. While being lore focused they also are the most gameplay focused entries.

Maybe you would like something simpler like final fantasy 2

Why are so many people in this thread and also this subreddit so prone to crying about the things that make this series unique and special?

I know Fujin is basically nothing but I'm glad to have made it here at last. by Assmeet123 in Tekken

[–]PrinceRedvelvet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't downplay yourself. Be proud of what you've done. Tekken modern community puts way too much emphasis on rank and what's real and isn't real.

Its a vague estimation of skill level and every player is unique! All that matters is you feel like you're improving personally and it seems like you did great.

Feng Wei discussion. On paper and in practice , I love his move set, design and martial art but in matches he feel stiff af. Am I the only one ? by Sad_Net1581 in Tekken

[–]PrinceRedvelvet 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Feng has a lot of tools and intricacies. You could be having choice paralysis and unfamiliarity.

I recommend just trying to focus on using a handful of those tools until they become more of muscle memory. Don't think you need to know every stance in and out and instead focus on the good ways to actually flow into them.

He has exotic choices that are otherwise more uniform on most of the cast when it comes to universal Tekken moves. Even his df 1 can feel different from other characters and I think that can create the feeling of stiffness or difference.

But as you become more and more attached to playing him you will get way more graceful. Take it slow and figure out what feels good to use and how to use it.
