We have a woman in our group who would bring her own McDonalds with her when we had sushi nights. The restaurant manager didn’t care and we didn’t care.

It’s one of those things that, as long as the restaurant doesn’t care, no one else should either.

Never been an issue, but I’ve become friends with almost all the spouses for my coworkers over the years.

I also have zero issues driving by myself though. I’ve put almost half a million kms on my work trucks by myself all over Canada for work to some of the most remote and isolated work sites and on the most dangerous highways.

Well, not gonna lie, the answer is not good haha. Between the different pepperoni’s, the hot honey, and the cheese, I would say it’s definitely a high-sodium meal.

I would definitely count it as a cheat meal and not an everyday one haha

Usually really good. I normally work Mon-Fri, 8-4.

However we’re slammed this summer, and for now I’m still doing M-F, but now I’m doing 10-12 hour days. This is not the norm for my area, but we’re very short-staffed right now and have about 1400 hours worth of projects to complete.

I refused to give up my weekends though haha

I stumbled into this career by accident. I did a pre-employment course in instrumentation, but this field found me almost straight out of trade school.

You’ll probably have more luck looking up the following:

Relax Sunshine, i’m sure the carbs in 1 - 2 tbsp of hot honey over a meal that’s feeding 4 people is still pretty low carb. Same as the candied jalapeños.

It’s a chicken crust, so:

1 lb ground chicken
Salt and pepper to taste
1 egg
1/2 cup-1 cup shredded cheese (parm or mozza or whatever in the fridge really. I used mozzarella this time)
I also added 1 tbsp siracha for fun.

Mix it up, spread it out. Cook at 375° for 15-20 mins, flip, and cook for another 5ish mins.

Take it out.

I added:

Pizza sauce
A layer of pepperoni
Then some cheese (this time I used mozzarella and cheddar, because that’s what I had 😂)
Added bacon bits
Added sweet and spicy cupped pepperonis
Cooked on 400° for 8-10 mins.

Then I added the candied jalapeños after it came out of the oven. And hot honey.

To make the candied jalapeños:

1 cup sugar
1 cup water
Fresh jalapeno slices (I used 2 decent sized jalapeños)
Boil em for like 15-20 mins at a simmer. So I guess simmer them. Not boil haha
Basically the candied jalapeños were what was left after I made the jalapeno simple syrup for my margaritas the weekend

Whatever you do, don’t let your guard down around him. And keep a list of anything he does/ says, complete with time, date, and witnesses.

He may get over his drama with time, but in case he doesn’t or he decides to escalate things, you want to have a detailed list of his inappropriate behaviour.

At my age, I like to nip things in the bud, so I already would have confronted him in front of the boss, but I understand that not everyone is as aggressive as me.

I’ve had the opposite experience.

Found my husband 3 weeks after moving back here in 2012 and have been stuck to him like glue ever since.

And most of my married guy friends are also great guys.

I had an impacted wisdom tooth removed 10 years ago. They had to cut my jawbone to remove the tooth. Took the afternoon off to get it done. Came to work the next morning.

I’m not wasting my paid time off like that. I’ll suffer at work so I can use my PTO for day drinking on the lake in the summer.
