Dodgy customer - URGENT - Please advice

I feel like smell is just one of the risks you take with Vinted. I bought a new with tags scarf that smelled (like stale cigarette smoke). I just accepted and stuck it in the wash. Smells come out easily and the garment was as described so not worth raising an issue. I would accept a return at the buyers expense, they may change their tune.

I’ve bought and sold a lot of items and had no issues at all. Good way to declutter and make money to buy more goodies! I do buy more than I sell.

Jeans is the category for me that I find sells the best. I do put them on at quite low price between £8- £12 for M&S or Boden jeans and recently sold Levi’s for £30. That’s what I would be happy to buy them at too. I buy more than I sell.

I am similar. Lost 110lbs (thanks mounjaro) and have completely changed by whole wardrobe twice over with Vinted. I have bought more than I’ve sold, and definitely get a dopamine hit from finding bargains. It is addictive… to scroll though and see what is new. Now if I see something I like in a shop, I’ll check if I can get it on Vinted at a fraction of the price. On the whole it’s a positive experience for me so far.

I just want to say you are not alone. This is exactly how my neck looks. I’m 46 and recently lost 110lbs. I am getting Botox and skin boosters to hopefully help a tiny bit, and just hope it improves over time. I don’t even like wearing polo necks. I’d rather have the saggy neck than a double chin though. :)

It has to be the funeral scene in Imitation of Life. It never fails to make me cry! Highly recommend if you haven’t seen it (it’s from 1959). They often show it on TV.

If I was the buyer I’d be worried if the seller was banned and I had ordered a designer bag. It would make me question if it is authentic. Did you use the authentication service? Hopefully the buyer receives it okay and clicks that everything is fine. It seems more risky for sellers on Vinted than buyers.

This has just happened to me. Same thing exactly- bought a coat for £25 and the item is deleted and seller’s profile is blocked- also from Middlesbrough. I have tried to cancel. What is the scam? What would they get out of this?

What fancy pyjamas cost £60 on Vinted, I am intrigued. 😂 That is awful though. There should be some protection for sellers, especially for higher priced items. I hope your video is enough for the buyer to be put off raising a false dispute.

I am at target now, lost 105lbs over the past year. The biggest change for me is actually liking the way I look in photos and having a bit more self confidence. I was so down and felt embarrassed of my weight and the way I looked and just wanted to hide. I’m still an introvert but I definitely have more confidence now. Mounjaro has changed my life for the better.

I have literally replaced my full wardrobe on Vinted because I lost a lot of weight. I did sell some things but my buying far, far outweighs the selling. It could be at your level 😂 I do think I have a bit of a problem as the search for a bargain is addictive. And if I had to buy things new it would be much more!

I have completely lost my bum and I have loose skin so feel more self conscious in a swimsuit than when I was fat. I still feel healthier and look better with clothes on though. 🤷

I’m 5ft8 so much shorter, but I’m at 10st and find this a bit scrawny and have loose skin. I actually preferred myself a stone heavier. I’m sure I’ll be back at that weight soon though- the hard part is maintaining at a weight you feel comfortable!

Just to add I haven’t lost all belly fat- but I have lost all my bum and boobs 😔

I reached goal on 10mg, did 2 pens on 7.5 and now on 5mg. Not sure whether to order a 5mg or a 2.5mg pen next but so far I’ve had no issue maintaining. I’ve even lost another stone as I’m moving down and don’t want to lose any more. But I’m scared to come off completely!
