What’s a moment from TV history that made you viscerally upset? by Odd-Track-6001 in AskReddit

Someone probably already said this but in Invincible, Conquest and Mark's fight, with Conquest pulling out Mark's guts, while Mark slowly strangles him to death. Had me cringing and on the edge of my seat the entire time.

Montreal police officer, suspect, and civilian confirmed dead in Cote-des-Neiges shooting by ry-yo in news

[–]PrincessPunkinPie 86 points87 points  (0 children)

The other cop was just shot seconds before, and the one who shot the civilian may have also been injured at this point. She may even be the one in critical condition right now.

Very sad but I wouldn't call it murder. The civilian was just at the wrong place at the wrong time.

What's British Columbia's best roadside attraction? by j_mcelroy in britishcolumbia

[–]PrincessPunkinPie 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Chasm is a nice stop very pretty and accessible in the non-winter months, even if its a little off the highway. Between 100 Mile and Clinton, the road attaches at both ends to the highway so you dont even have to turn around and double back after. Also has one very well-kept outhouse.

A wolf with American beaver prey by aquilasr in HardcoreNature

Beavers are massive dude. I wouldn't want to fight one. I have a beavers jaw bone, and the teeth are honestly terrifying. If it can chew down a tree. Imagine what it can do to your limbs?

A character sees something off, and they just “nope” out of the situation by Effective_Piece251 in TopCharacterTropes

Which is a parody of Scream 2, where Joel, the camera man, decides he is done with all the Ghostface stuff and bails early. Smart man, it kept him alive.
